  • The song is gematria (the killing name) also I dunno much about the guitar other than Mick pretty much plays everything bar a few songs drop b. Does this come factory tuned to drop b as well?

  • WHAT SONG!?

  • lol i made this exact same vid... same guitar and everything except with the mtm case xD nice vid

  • trust me dude, that probably going to become the guitar you use most... i have 3 guitars and only use one of them, but nothing i have can compare to the mick t sig

  • how much do those run for?

  • it normally does

  • EMG's? WTF?

i think the mtm1 has normaly Seymour Duncan Blackout pu's?!

  • @LinkinMarc7, Yep, the new ones come with Blackouts.... This is one of the older models that came with EMGs before Mick went with Seymour Duncan :)

  • @jalmetalman what do u think is better mine has EMGS :)

  • @juniormick13 I don't know, mine also had EMG's... :)

  • @LinkinMarc7 in 2005, the mtm1 have emg 81/60

  • i thought they came with ebony on the fret boards ?

  • @jcallseven rosewood, mick thinks it sounds better

  • i saw a video where mick talks about ebony like on his production models its a kinda waste then if you are paying all that money for rosewood for a little more you could have got an esp horizon

  • There's something i didn't get (excuse me if the question seems ridiculous but i don't know much about guitar building, just the basics) In the ibanez catalog it says that the factory tuning is Drop B (C#-G#-E-B-F#-C-B) this is mick thompson's usual tuning but if i want to, can i tune it to standard E? or are C# standard and Drop B the "normal" tunings and it shouldn't go higher (for some technical reasons i don't understand?).

  • You can tune it to whatever you want :)

  • thanks.

  • is there any real difference in the mtm1 and the mtm2 like tone wise quality

  • @guitarsandbacon There is a lot of difference in tone but thats mainly because the MTM1 has active pickups in it where as the MTM2 does not :)

  • @jalmetalman did you know the mtm2 has active pickups too?

  • @MetalNIVEK96 Yes, but only the newer versions... :)

  • @guitarsandbacon

of course not the same pickups ans other things

  • did you sell the mtm2?

  • @faggotball Nope I still have the MTM2...

  • @jalmetalman nice, you see the new seymour duncan mick thomson signatures?

  • Yep...

  • mick thompsons signature aint it?

  • Yep :)
