  • my first flight was when i was 3 weeks old ....... me:3 weeks his brother: 30 years.... lol

  • I thought the future of air travel would be into space. Arching up letting the rotation of the earth cover the distance and then coming back down. I wonder... is it safer to fly in space? Then again you'd have to GET there and there's always a chance of technology failing.

Every time I fly I feel it's the most dangerous and vulnerable thing I've ever done. I'm trusting my life to two engines and computers. If today's the day they fail, my life is over. How's that for a followup topic?

  • Qatar Airways FTW!

  • The luggage tracker already exists it slike a lojack and the service is $400 a year bytrackitback or a traceable tag is cheaper by Traceme about $20 per tag but not GPS. Everyone should by these products through USairways shopping mall or the online mall of your preferred airline because you can get massive amounts of extra miles doing your shopping that way from stores like New egg, walmart , DELL. I got 15k in miles this month without stepping foot on a plane . Use Flyertalk forums

  • @bonzaibb12 I just found this on Youtube United will be doing this with there elite status customers watch?v=TknLzJmn0X0

  • **yawns**

  • My longest airplane ride was 16 hours long.

John F Kennedy International to Hong Kong International

  • wow, this is boring..

  • chris there is internet on a airline i know its name is lufthansa but it is on some of there planes and near the seat there is a charger but it is a 12 volt plug

  • LAN party on a plane lol....NICE!

  • when airlines stop employing retards and incompetent assholes then maybe ill consider using them more often.

  • someone read popular science

  • hydrogen fuel cell plane?

  • Chris, the airlines are losing money. It is not that easy to put internet and plugs all over the plane. For every penny gas goes up airlines such as American Airlines loses millions of dollars.

  • One of the large school districts in Maryland looses $33,000 a year for every penny gas goes up. So two or three pennies could hire a teacher. The future of air travel is a graveyard of rusted out planes. There won't be air travel in a few decades. Maybe less. At the very least Joe Average ain't flying in a few years. I'm not even sure Oprah Winfrey and Bill Gates are flying in a few years. Enjoy peak oil. Popcorns on me.

  • No there will always be airlines. Maybe there will be a lot less but there will always be airlines.

  • Virgin America has in-flight gaming and chatting.

  • Virgin America has Internet access and power.

  • Airbus the future way to fly!@!!!! just kidding.. Boeing 7E7 a380 ... and probaly other new types.. it will be the future of air travel .... for now :)

  • i just came back from a trip to asia from canada. the 13hour flight was horrible. i wished that planes that traveled long distances could have slightly wider seats. sitting beside 2 sweaty people isn't really all that great...

  • what is a red eye flight

  • A red eye flight is the last flight of the day, most of the day you land after midnight.

  • liar

  • virgin atlantic has a massage station for business class passengers

  • i took my first flight to turkey when i was young

  • i farted as well. it smelled beautiful.

  • lollllllllllllllll

  • omg, lan xD

  • air canada has usb plugs on everyseat; every plane.

  • My first flight. I was three and well, I dont remember it.

    Billy Anne Crews

  • I thought you meant Air travel"- make one of air transport!

  • Faggot.

  • Communist!

  • Talk about "NERD". lol

"I have flown every airline out there!" ..yeah..you mean about the handful of airlines out here in the states? You surely havent flown the leading airlines of Europe and Asia from the way you talk about "future airlines"

  • omg COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES about gay rights is AMAZING. You have never seen anything like it!

  • I once flew on Swiss Air and they hat monitors like the one you mention on your Jet Blue flight. However, these monitors in addition to tracking you flight, allowed you to change screens to watch movies, play some basic video games, or listen to music. Also, they had different movies, video games, and music to select from. Every seat had a little controller for you to make your selections. Would be something nice for planes to add on those long flights.

  • sheer brilliance

  • They have internet, they have usb ports, and plug ports, they have games, the phone is the controller. even massages are available in first class. but the one thing that you have to take in account is that american flights are about 3 hrs LONG. (american flight industries have no need to purchase super expensive airplanes cost cost cost)

korean flights. most particuarily korean air has all of them everyone has their own screen, their own game, usb ports. (economy class tickets are 2000$

  • what a clown !

    Can't stand his accent either...

  • it aint far into space man.. and you can fly much much faster :P

  • massage class LoL

  • I entirely agree with this. The longest flight I've ever taken was from NYC to Seoul, South Korea.. Which, I must say, was the longest 13 or so hours of my life. Some other sorts of options for entertainment on an airplane would be wonderful. Like, what if they offered rentable games from those little TVs the stick with every seat? Like they did with the N64 in hotel rooms. Controllers are pretty much wireless now, I don't see how it would be too big of an hassle.

  • what we need is hydrogen powered airplanes, cars and electricity reactors.

  • I don't thing fuel cells will be powerful enough for aeroplanes for a long time. But I hope it soon develops and catches on for cars in the next few decades.

  • How about no air friction??.. no air=faster...

  • Actually, Royal Jordanian, and Qantas give massages on First Class!

  • Somthing like concord!!! Lets breake the sound barrier again people!!! lol from uk to New Your in two hours!!

  • i have flown probably more then most people will ever fly in their lives and i am only fourteen, but having a LAN party on an airplane would be probably the greatest thing ever, just imagine you pay some extra money to get a special seat, then you could compete in LAN games against people on the plane, or maybe even over xbox live or psn that would be awsome.

  • gosh, 3 mins of a practical dreamer wanting a massage, uhhhhh, weak sauce duder

  • There are in flight competitions via the IFE available on some aircraft. Of course these are generic games like Chess.

  • that would be cool to have a lan party kind of thing, especially since it wouldnt have to be wireless and they wouldnt complain about that kind of stuff

  • im 12 yrs old and fly frequently, so far about 8 times some all the way to the us from uk

  • Is that linux on chris' pc because that is one sweet screen saver

  • no its mac osx running on a mac pro

  • i recently bought a Macbook pro 2,5ghz (15")

now i heard that a new model, 2,6ghz is out, is worth the extra money?

  • youre fine with your macbook pro. enjoy it :)

  • Hey you had your first flight at the same age as me!

    Cool!

And I was wandering what terbulance was, until now thanks! :)

  • A PSP doesn't charge by USB

  • does if you get an adapter

  • Well, you guys must have the new one cause my old on doesn't If it did... WHy the hell would they put the port for the charger.

  • Yes it does...

  • Well, you guys must have the new one cause my old on doesn't If it did... WHy the hell would they put the port for the charger.

  • Yeah, I can. If you get the computer charger you can charge it with that.

  • Well, you guys must have the new one cause my old on doesn't If it did... WHy the hell would they put the port for the charger.

  • LOL @ lan partys on a plane.

  • Oh and one more thing. If they allowed internet and provided massages on airplanes...I think more people would be in the air than on land!!

    -Catreena

  • You know most of the airlines do that, right?; except the massage is digital.

  • I've only flown 3 times (from MI to NC). My friend Tristan got his pilot license a couple years ago. But anyways...I'm sure anyone who flies continuously would want a luggage tracker! I know I would.

Great ideas. You should pursue them! You'd be a billionaire!

  • SNAKES, ON A PLANE.

  • lol!

  • LAN PARTY!! Awesome idea. I'll do all my long hauls on that airline. And while we're dreaming, wouldn't it be nice if the party can start on the ground at the lounge, let's you hit a pause button and continue where you left off on the plane come boarding time.

  • apparently, theres an Hotel in the moon

  • bigger space planes are too cramped

  • No terrorists thats what I would like to see

  • We already have that xD.

  • The future of air travel is fu*k the airlines. Ill stay home until I save enough for my own jet.

  • A LAN party on a plane..Holy mackerel, mister

  • Why do you say 'Fur" instead of 'For" there are so many people saying that now, I thought it was just all the hicks in my town. It can get really annoying when people say "fur" are you that lazy you cant move your lips a little more.

  • scramjets... google it.

  • massage CHAIRS

  • masages are possible on quite a few long haul flights, although on most airlines its only available for first class!

  • ummm how can they improve the airlines when they are struggling to make money?

  • lol i would LOVE lan in a plane

  • Try being the guy that throws the bags on to the planes. 8 hour days plus mandatory over time. The ramp is so understaffed that people working for 2 weeks become teachers to the new employees. About 4 people to tend to 4 plane slots. All for 8 dollars an hour with no raise for at least 1 year. The tugs need windshields and new brakes. I watched some one crash into a plane because the brakes were gone. This is at MKE the home of Midwest. Best Care in the air.

  • Hey... try flying on airlines that are not owned by a US company and you will get great service. Singapore Air is Amazing as is Air India. Great food, 200 movies on demand.

  • same with pakistan international airlines. Amazinggg

  • They offer a few of the things you mentioned in First Class. The last time I flew first class(and only) there was a charging sockets for laptops etc, mass agers built-in to the chairs. The airplane lan party does sound like a hell of a lot of fun.

  • man.... you make videos on anything ?????????

  • You have all that stuff on a pvate-jet ;)

  • what about climate change?!?! Shouldn't that be an issue with planes?

  • YAHHHH jetblue is my favorite airline, its the cheapest too.. i love itt!!!

    :]

  • Not cheap! Inexpensive, jetBlue is super class!

  • you dont want to be saying we should have one class your stepping in to communism there lol

  • MY FIRST FLITE WAS AT THREE MONTHS

  • Lmfao same here, except it was 2 months XD

  • o lol!

  • I remember the Delta wing in Atlanta had a bunch of Internet Service/Charging Stations...really helped the 7-hour delay go by lol.

  • The LAN party on flights is an awesome idea. :-)

  • If oil prices continue to increase I think that any plane that can take you somewhere without a paying a small fortune would be great.

  • i get motion sick -=/

  • This is Futurism! :)

Many Italian Futurists supported the rise of Fascism in Italy in the hope of modernizing the society and the economy of a country that was still torn between unfulfilled industrial revolution in the North and the rural, archaic South. Marinetti founded the (Futurist Political Party) in early 1918, which only a year later was absorbed into Benito Mussolini's Fasci di combattimento, making Marinetti one of the first supporters and members of the National Fascist Party.

  • virgin airlines has LAN for tic-tac-toe!

  • I love flying. I almost "like" the turbulence (as long as it's not extreme).

Airbusses and small cessnas are all fun ^^

  • yeah tracking your stuff. more room for your seats. oh more conferitible seats. a actual good meal on all flights. other then that im fine with my mp4/mp3 player. good idea about the gamming. peace. gregg

  • Like I said about Theaters. Whats old is new. It is going back to being something only the rich do. Please wake up to whats going on. Welcome back to the old oops.. I mean new American Status System. Do you personally pay for each fight you take Chris? If so how rich are you? Sorry, I just can't relate to spending so much money flying around like you do. I am vary jealous. I last flow out of Vegas two years ago and it was so bad I hope to never fly again.

  • Japan Airlines (JAL) is the best airline for goin to Asia!!

  • Hey...I thought Singapore International Airlines (SIA) IS the best airline in Asia...especially with the Airbus A380 TO BOOST about. Oh well.

  • First class is good because they pay 3x extra and then they let prices go down for YOU, Chris. First class is good

  • There is no future for air travel. Once we run out of oil there will be no furure for anything. On that note, I like the idea of a transperant floor.

  • lol there will always be alchohol, and other means for jets to fly, oil is just the cheapest right now.

  • You can make oilo out of hemp...the first car was made out of hemp materials and hemp oil (I think its called estrogen or soemthing) anyways Hemp wont run out

  • transparent floors so you can watch the ground while you fly.

granted that doesn't work for most planes right now but it would be pretty interesting

  • But for people who dont really like flying it would scare them so much. you could easily make them but they dont for 2 reasons:

    1. People would get panicy

    2. You would be suprised how much of your flight is over sea or un inhabited mountains and forests

  • some planes have two decks for passengers bottom deck would be the transparent one and the upper deck wouldn't

  • Wow that be cool and scary at same time.

  • I hope some leading airlines could get a hold of all these great ideas. They are interested in competition and it isnt always the cheapest airfilght which will entice the customer.

  • Zomg pwned

  • Scandinavian Airline Service (SAS) offers internet on some flights:-) It's pretty expensive though: 10 dollars for 30 minutes!

  • I remember when there were no colour phones, it was moslty calculator like LCD screens, now we have phones with camera's and internet and high quality screens, i would of never imagined that, so its hard to think of the future.

  • I believe Song had a game setup 2 years ago when I was flying home on a Delta flight operated by Song. I didn't play any games but I viewed some TV shows - History Channel on snack foods and Made in America on the Travel Channel. I loved it.

  • Rofl, lan parties in planes Pl0x. Would be pwnage

  • Virgin America has USB ports, Massage chairs, and internet access soon

  • Do the massage chairs apply to first class only? LOL I'm assuming it does. Same with USB ports.

  • on Cathy Pacific (of singapore), it is available on economy.

  • thta wood be cool a luggage traker if i spell that right but that wood be sweet i get in a heart beat

  • Future of Air Travel? Hum... I think they will come up with some anti-gravity engine that can travel like 5 thousands miles per minute... So a travel from New York to Tokyo would take 2 minutes or less... Not very far from it.

  • hahahah

everything you mentioned is available in UK i was playing game withe other people. but it's only on virgin atlantic.

  • 3rd

  • WRONG.

  • I want to see comfortable flights for people that fly in coach too, and LAN parties would be pwnage

  • I think the future of air travel will probley be a jetpack running on dirt? idk lol.
