@orangebiggy Yes, the drums sounds like they used trigger or kind of sample system. To many bands and producer today use software like pro-tools or cubase wich makes recording easier and cheaper and everthing sounds absolutly perfect. But there is nothing natural or organic about this productions!

The reason instruments and vocals always sound great is because in the 50's jazz master Les Paul pretty much created multitracking which allows you to record every instrument individually making it is you didn't have to pick the best sounding take of each song but you could take all the best parts of each instrument and mixing them.
