they arent even close to verrry verry i would say, like, they had minor popular, but ive known them since they played at small bars (they used to run thier own merch booth xD) and id say its been a little more than fringe popularity,

i went to a metric show that was pretty big in toronto, the sound academy was full. plus they were i think the 3rd biggest band (next to the killers and the smashing pumpkins) at the virgin festival. i'd say they have a lot of popularity, just not mainstream.

Really good video! The sound quality is way better than most. I wish they had played this song when I saw them! I think it might be even better live.

Hmm i dunno, i think they played it a bit fast. It doesn't have the same groove and rhythm as the cd track and her voice sounds rushed, which it really shouldn't.

Emily Haines shouldn't have been in Vancouver this night. She should have been on Halifax, performing with Broken Social Scene.  Everyone in the crowd near me was so disappointed to hear she wasn't going to be there because Metric was performing in Vancouver. :(

hey give vancouver a break... so rarely do we get good bands to come here... they almost always go as far as edmonton and then totally skip vancouver and go right for seattle... it's such a bummer...
