It is unfortunate that we have to resort to this in order to solve our problems. especially if you look at world war 2. adolf hitler's reign of terror was relentless, putting a strangle hold on Europe. war was the only way to stop him and Nazi Germany. it is sad to see what a mess like hitler and all cruel dictators make. My grandfather fought for the US against the Nazis. After the fighting was done, they hade to clean out the death camps. horrifying! My gradfather's life was never the same.
I am 75 and I had not realized how much and how many wars have taken place in my lifetime. Thank you again for your outstanding, moving and meaningful videos.
Astounding! A solemn and respectful view of wars America and the rest of the world participated in over many decades. It is most fitting that no words are spoken. That might well serve to add honor and nobility to actions that never should have happened in the first place.
A very somber roll call. We mourn the warriors on Memorial Day, but there is only what lies in our hearts for the innocents of that terrible evil we so blithely term simply as war. For every valiant battle fought, for every bit of glory showered on an individual, there are untold multitudes of innocents who suffer horribly. No matter who the victor is, we all lose.
my dear friend, Spadecaller, many don't know that you and I hate all war. It is with this in mind, I felt the pain and even at 65, cried. How dare mankind glorify war. All war is evil, you know that better than most.
Keep your videos coming until there is war-- no more. Your swampie pal, SwampFox-82nd.

Mankind, a violent breed! Some of the wars listed, i am sure could have been avoided.. What is the attraction of killing and death to human beings?
