Only man on the planet who can make a good reason for using pre-recorded material and samples on stage. Usually this practice is arrogant and cheap sounding, but Hirasawa does it perfectly. Hell, he does everything perfectly.
Another aspect to point out is that his theatrical vision on stage doesn't overload the sense in ways to distract the listener; his imagery and sound mingle in just the right amount. And to think that Brian Eno is more famous (paw!)
One of the things I love about hirasawa is that he's able to pull off energetic songs with such a monotonous expression, though that's not as evident here.
@G00st432 Valid point. Though there are a lot of famous singers with terrible stage fright too, even ones who have done it for a long time. Not that I'm trying to argue or prove you wrong. No one (except his close friends) really knows what goes on in that head of his anyways. It's just one of my many guesses.

@KingOfUm
Besides, he activates the samples himself (some of them) so if he misses timing it sounds bad but he is perfect in making music

@KingOfUm If it makes you feel better none of my friends (or I for that matter) have heard of this Brian Eno but we all love Mr. Hirasawa :D

@tuedor4ever Ha ha, it does.

@GraveBlashyrkh Couldn't agree more totally! He also sings live and plays instruments. Not comparable to similar artists who use samples only.

It was still a great listen though.

@G00st432 Honestly, you know what I think? I think he's nervous... xD He might not be though.

@MissLoveTantei91 It'd be difficult to believe he's nervous after he's been doing it for 30 years. I think he's mastered live performance.
