She would therefore logically be charged with tampering with evidence on top of being an accomplice... which would in no way lessen her sentence.

I just want all the old characters back-Phoenix without the drastic personality change, Edgeworth, Gumshoe, Franziska, Maya, Iris, Larry, hopefully Godot. AJ is just too distant to really be considered a sequal in my mind-the only two characters they kept (Phoenix and ema) are barely even the same as they were in the original games-if I wasn't told otherwise I would never say they were the same people.

I think Godot's picture is there representing that Diego Armando was dead and that even though they are one in the same, the man known as Diego is forever gone and only Godot remains. So no, Godot is not literally dead.

I don't think he got the death penality (this could probably seen as justafyable self-defence), but I wouldn't be surprised if he dies anyway. He mentions he doesn't have a reason to live for anymore, also because of how messed up he got from that poison he needs to go to doctors regulary to stay alive, he probably stop going and just faded away.
