@doberfag Ya Chinese workers. Like who built the transcontinental railroad. Didn't the migrants move to Canada after the RR was finished? I think that was some of the story.
@moldymac ya I will use those rings one day. Or sell em to someone else as Ill have a set off my rotors now LOL. I think people want them for the Kore3 kits. Ya these rotors rock. I still have to paint up the rotor hats to give them that Impala ss look. The variable orifice is cool. I just also scored a NOS denso Receiver drier. It looks like what I bought years ago just w/o the AC delco label. Its made in USA unlike the NEW ac delco china junk.. Try denso when looking for US parts!
Good to see those reluctor rings went to good use LOL.
I bet those rotors you got there won't warp the first time you hit the brakes like that chinese shit does. I never put a variable orifice in a B-body before, but I did put one in my riviera and it made a big difference. The cost as a hard hit ($24 vs $1.19)
@more350power Ya it was R-12 and now its R-134a. I converted it myself in 2008. It was working MINT for years. Then the AC comps shaft seal started leaking a year or so ago (New compressor) Its not the 1st time ive got a bum compressor of this style. My truck went through a few of them. I think I have some leaks at the other connections as Oil is on on some connections. But its nothing like the AC compressors leak! Ya. MADE in Canada brake rotors. These have to be close to 10 years old
I havent seen made in canada or made in the usa on any car part in a long time lol! If that is a 134a ac system and not the old R12, they leak like a B!tch sometimes.
