An solution: Limit the number of spotting lock-ons to 1 per player, weather running solo or squading.

or a radius of influence so only people in a close vicinity (adjustable by map) can hear your coms and spotting

This still enables squads to work with each other and reduces the all-out spot shooting.

well than you know the shitty 3D spotting. Little red dot which accurately marks the position of an enemy.

In Battlefield 2 a spotted enemy appeared only the minimap. you couldn't just blindfire and hit enemies that aren't visible to you.
