So do I! I just discovered this show -- near the end of the 6th season. The great thing is that I 'have' to play catch-up with the daily episodes. They are not up tp Season 3 yet in this cycle. (Not that it matters all THAT much. This series is on my 'must buy' list.)

I think it has something to do with Seth believing Scrubs is a rip off of his show. Both use cutaway scenes that are somewhat nonsensical. Scrubs uses JD's imagination, Family Guy uses "Like that time...". And given that Family Guy came out in 1999 and Scrubs came out in 2001, one would say he has reason to feel that way.

Difference is... Scrubs continued to be mind numbingly funny through it's whole tenure. I don't remember laughing at the new episodes of Family Guy

I agree that Family Guy is no longer funny. But Scrubs is coming to that point to. I can't remember an episode in Season 6 of Scrubs that I actually thought was funny or as good as any of the previous seasons.

I think it's age. I've been a Scrubs fan since the beginning. And I find that it's still the same thing that it was before. A lot of beauty of Scrubs is that it felt completely new and fresh, so it added to the humor. They didn't change the formula, so it might come off more dated than anything else.

I know people who were just introduced to Scrubs in the last season and think it's the funniest thing ever. We who've been through it might not see the same way we've been in on it for a while.

I think also that one of the reasons why I watched the show originally was because of J.D. and Dr. Cox's relationship as wannabe intern/resident, and unwilling mentor, and they seem to have deviated from that in later seasons. It's still funny, but it's lost a little bit of the edge that made it awesome before.
