Broodmate Dragon. It's a 4/4 flyer that comes into play with another 4/4 red flying dragon. All for GBR3. Keep in mind only the original is black, so the token can be somewhat more susceptible to removal.

Seriously : I play green and elves, why? because I seriously have to throw blue in just to counter pyroclasms, wrath of gods, infests, ultimatums, charms, firesprouts and other overpowered shards s**t.

Green means big scary creatures right? well other then molimo and mycoloth, where the f*** are they?

I play green, because its what the game was mentioned to be like, summoning creatures who mainly do dmg and other spells helping them, And its the only way I can have fun..

Mycoloth is good enough to take over the whole green color, I say.. I've got four in a saproling deck, and today I managed to devour 20 with two doubling seasons in play.. Devoured 20 creatures @ 2 each, is 40/40.. Doubling season to 80/80, then again to 160/160. I got 320 saprolings every turn.. Turns out I won.

I find one of the most interesting differences between professional and casual is pretty much what one would expect: how different the players are. Professional play has always been dominated by the strategic blue (and green currently sucking), while in casual you see a lot of big green creatures blindly smashing for damage. It really shows the different levels of magic.

combo elves - most of green is bad, most of blue is good. thats just the stereo type, of course there are exceptions, but thats just how things work in the game and in life.

Jund Charm hits the sideboard to maindeck firespout and cloudthreshers. It's not the reason Jund Ramp exists. If anything, it's Violent Ultimatium and Broodmate Dragon. Turn 5 Ulitimatium. Wins. Games. A random turn 6 Hellkite Overlord swinging for 8 is nice too.

I play Jund Ramp, with 3 x Jund Charm in the sideboard. IMO it's a sideboard card. Firespout gets a maindeck spot, and jund charm replaces profane command in the reveilark/fae matchup. Turn 5 Violent Ultimatium wins games. Also, sprouting thrinax is too slow for the deck, I would rather be playing finks, broodmate, or cloudthresher.

I find it ridiculous that people don't want to hear from pros at all. If you don't want to learn anything whatsoever to make your game better then why even bother watching a podcast to find out what is going on in magic in the first place. As for Patrick Chapin though, I agree that his tom-foolery has grown to be rather stale. The comments from pros pertaining to the game is insightful much of the time though. N00bs just get angry when you make fun of their dice bags apparently haha.

I doubt that the main intent of the show was to improve player's games; however, a benefit to having the pro interviews and opinions clearly is to give people insight into their thought process which can help anyone's game. I don't think Erwin would interview pros if he thought that there wasn't anything to learn by what they have to say.

I noticed Evan failed to mention the Sarah Palin Special (the Alaskan Highlander deck that took first in that state). Why not? If I could go to Philly, I'd want to play that deck so badly.

Every magic show should be like this aka the early shows , when you became the voice of the pros I nearly stopped watching you . I know it is probably easier to have Patrick Chapin do 5 minutes of filler when your 125 shows in but that's not why I watch . I quit magic 15 months ago because to many people started seeing me as a "Donk!" The only reason I tune in is to see what the real magic players think and on this video you get a 5/5 from me . Keep up the good work Evan!
