Just saw them in Ft Lauderdale last week. Man, Arnel just blows you away. They did this song (my favorite Journey song) second and it almost made me cry, it was so good. Amazing find, good job Journey for choosing talent!!!

Arnel is very impressive here. I think he sings this song the best out of the all of the Journey classics. A lot of people doubted Neal Schon's decision to bring him, but it looks like they struck gold with Arnel.

No, you misunderstand....by "had" I'm refering to your comment about "the tonal range and color Steve Perry has"...that actually should be stated as "HAD" because Steve no longer posesses such talent today. Steve's voice sucks now, which it should at 60 years old, but Pineda's young voice is SMOKIN' HOT!!!!!!!!

'Had' is right. This song never broke until 1985 when it was on the Vision Quest Soundtrack. Originally recorded in '82 for the Frontiers album when Perry's voice was prime. When Journey started performing it live on the '86 ROR Perry lacked to tonal range he had when he originally recorded it. By '86 his voice was worn and he had to 'color' many of their songs just to get through them. Check out the 'Journey Only the Young - 1986'. Not even close the original in quality.

On or about May 27? The band may just use the Ellen Degeneres show to catapult their Revelation cd release & tour promo. To coincide, possibly a few Journey classic & new promo cuts sent & played at radio stations especially Euro media. The underground downloading frenzy begins.
