I'm not sure if this is Bakhtiari or Gatchsaran, but most od the comments I get state that is from Gatchsaran, however I think they are very related cultures and tribes.
wow such great culture! my father is bakhtiari from masjed suleyman, and mother from finland. i speak farsi but not bakhtiari. i really feel like a bakhtiari but i really look european not iranian, i even have blue eyes. i wish i could look like and be pure bakhtiari! do i still count as iranian?
I'm a Lari, a small region south of Shiraz, we got very similar culture, custom, dialect as the Lori and Bakhtiaris
Sometimes I think we all are actually one group. I don't live in Iran though, and nor did my father or grandfather. We left Iran along with many of our people because of the discrimination on us as we refused to give up our sunni faith, which was the official faith of all Iranians before Safavid invasion.
