  • na Na NAH!!!

  • PREMO delivers. For the millionth TIME.

  • fuck im suprised this dude havent blown up more such a talented emcee

  • Street Hop was dope as hell

Ima cop it when I see it at best buy

  • I like this video. Thank you for your sharing. Hope to see next your video.

  • Those people who was standing still looked gay ass fuck but I do like this song

  • hu the fuk are the 4 lil fags hu thumbed this song down !

  • one of the few niggas keepin hip hop alive, hes almost mainstream is what i mean by that.

  • royce might never sell major units but that aint mean he aint dope, if anyone deserve to go platinum its royce, bin grindin in the game for a long time and still aint got his dues

  • "Weake" Weezy-Drake, are ruining hip-hop. No emcee should be putting out a new single every 2 minutes, otherwise it's trash. How about taking the time to put effort and care into an album that bangs and motivates peeps, instead of crap tracks about what you got with your record contract. No wonder no one wants buy hip-hop music anymore, cause of all you wack, panty-pleasing emcees out there. Move over and save some radio play for the real.

  • And in response to mabus2007, why don't you do us all a favor and take Drake's or Weezy's "piece" out of your mouth and jump of the nearest bridge. You obviously wouldn't know good hip-hop if it slapped you in the face. Maybe cause you have had to much of the previously mentioned in your face? Royce and the rest of Slaughterhouse are saviors ti hip-hop, at least to what it used to be.

  • Top emcee in the game! Been all over his shit since day 1, and always will be. The truest and most honest emcee in the game, a true sing writer that bitches like Diddy use to write their lyrics without giving him credit or even paying him in some instances. One of the last real emcees alive!

  • Royce is the only MC out in the US that is a true song writer and not just an advertiser or copy cat gimmick ridden bitch. Is it me or is Michigan the only state except for NC that is making any hip hop anyone should admire or feel passion for...

  • @adverse78 i feel u to an extent, but ur crazy to think the only states still kickin true meaningful passion filled hip-hop is Michigan n NC, which BOTH do have some great talent, but quick examples: Chicago = Common, New Jersey = Budden, Philly = The Roots, there's more in each of those cities, but those are some examples homie

  • I love his energy it just makes me wanna spit a verse or two man.

  • that street hip hop is classic!!!!!

  • A good one from premier. Sounds classic.

  • wow...they did it again.

i slapped myself for being late on this one. right when i lose all faith in this hip hop shit, someone grabs the bull by the horns....that shit is fire.

  • Royce is nice

  • hip hop has died. its main stream bullshit. I hope that someone comes out with something new. I love music no matter what it is and I cant remember the last time I heard a good hip hip song.

  • it was back in 1999 with Dre's 2001 or maybe 2005 with Game and 50 together

  • This is what's wrong with music these days. A track like this that actually says something and has serious talent behind it has 26,000 views while Soulja Boy has well over 100 million. And the best part is this song, besides being incredibly dope is catchy too. Let's go people.

  • I don't like the flow of this song.....

But he's saying something with a positive vibe.

  • Clipse?

  • never heard of them ? or u hattin' on them?

  • Jus hattin

  • Clipse got a bunch of classics. They're good.

  • well to each its own... but .. I like them.

  • Its an Axelrod sample, however its not holy thursday as in dr.carter, this song samples the song "the sime"

  • SLAUGHTERHOUSE!!!

  • CAUSE I WENT SO HARD AND WOKE UP SOBER!!

    sick ass line!

  • sick beat

  • Bitch...get off me!!!

  • Street Hop! - Royce Da 5'9

    Free Agent! - Joell Ortiz

    Padded Room! - Joe Budden

COP THESE ALBUMS, SUPPORT REAL HIP HOP

  • hell yeah man!!! picked up that joell ortiz one the other day, have the others already.

  • keep doin it royce... your one of the best in the game

  • This record is ill as I dont know what!! Primo is a muthafuckin legend

  • In XXL they said Primo took this beat from a Sizz Beatz record...what is it?

  • no its sampled from david axelrod- holy thursday, hes been sampled A LOT of times just listen to his songs, premo, lord finesse, dre, etc.

  • it's actually johnny harris - light my fire. anyone with a dusty fingers collection should catch it

  • your a disgrace to hip-hop

  • what are you talking about?

  • When was the last time u listened 2 rl music or hav u been ear raped by garbage 2 much?

  • swizz's Dr Carter off of lil waynes Carter 3

  • If even he had, why would Primo have to steal a beat anyways? :P

  • Primo didn't take shit from swizz beats. It's a sample of Holy Thursday by David Axlerod. But Swizz did use the EXACT same beat as Holy Thursday. At least Primo Chopped it up and made it his own.

  • True man. This guy has a point. If we don't support talented underground artists today, there would be no good hip hop music in the future, only mainstream crap that labels sell to us. You know Royce once was an undergroud rapper like many other talented young artists are today. But look at him now. People supported him, people believed him. So let's support, belive and look for new fresh underground future "rap legends" that are somewhere out there waiting for us to listen to them.

    Peace

  • real talk...

  • any d niggas ever heard of camden nj

  • Hell Naw!!!

    But yall herda Us NIGGA!!!

    HAHAAAA!!!

    Detroit Stand

    Blade said... "WHAT UP"

    WHAT UP DOE

  • Real Message...

  • wut up man you know when his album drops bro

  • July 7th 2009.

  • word...

    sum emotional shit right here..

    i can feel this

  • Detroit Stand Up!

  • BLADE SAID WHAT UP

  • What up doe!!!

  • Preem said he would go back in that early 90s sound and reinvent it.

  • If anybody could do it, it would be him.

  • It's OFFICIAL :

    1. Shake This

    2. Hip Hop

    3. Boom

    4. Ding Ding

    Best Premo/Royce collabs EVVVER !!!

  • boom is produced by dj premier.

  • Yeah...I cud see that

  • What a damn good song man

  • Real hip-hop dats my man Royce givin you real shit to listen to

  • i hear dat stil bro, but hip hop in general is crumbling and hip hop is alot bigger than 2 or 3 rappers n we need every1 to unite to bring it back...doesnt seem like its gon happen maayn

  • Oh man, he can throw everybody else right to the non recycling trash can and with that DJ Premier sick beat, he deserves a platinum record. Simply awesome track. As everybody know, Hip Hop/Rap today ( mainstream comercial shit ) is a waste of time, but there still are rappers like Nas, Krs, Common or Royce that are true leaders of Rap. Thanks to these guys "Hip Hop" will never die. God bless you.

  • word!

  • I Agree with all that

  • He deserves 2 be at the Top. He's real hip hop!

  • royce best rapper alive

  • royce >>>>> 99% of living rappers.

& i BEEN saying that shiit. royce needs to sign me as his hype man.

  • this dude aint gettin the credit he deserves!!

  • Love this shit. Got to stop smoking every day..

  • this is that real shit

  • Too bad I don't think nobody likes real rap anymore...nah idk

  • i guess this is how pure life sounds like..very impressed by video - especially by the shot of absolutelly ordinary girl with glasses

  • royce is the king of detroit. And not just on some self proclaimed shit either

  • 'i'm a new man but i can fuck w/ a whore'

    hahahaha

  • This shit is sooooooooooooo damn hot. He really went in on this track.

Wonder why this isnt on the radio. and this video is weak. They coulda came harder w/ something.

'leave it in the streets like BITCH GET OFF ME'

    TOOOO HOT!

  • Royce and DJ Premier always come correct!!

  • Royce is so under rated. such a sick rapper. hope he does well on his new album.

  • cant wait for street hop and slaughterhouse. im goin to see royce and nas on feb. 6th!!!

    What!

  • Thats whats up man, imagine if Royce da 5'9 and Nas made a whole CD together!!

  • Royce and Nas totally need to kick it. Nas was for real though!

  • which cd is this song from?is it from his new bar exam 2 coming soon?plz help.23

  • Street Hop, coming out in February

  • this song is like crazyyyyyyyy dope, and people aint even knowing, thas a shame,i think its time we all start pushing to bring in good music, its all up to the people, what we feel they put up,its simple as that, lets get it everybody!

  • Why is Lil wayne all over tv and i have yet to see this video??? Fuck MTV.

  • true dat fuck mtv i liked it back in the day when they had mtv yo rap and actually played real hip hop none of that fake ass wayne shit

  • Damn mixing ruined the song. He spat his soul out on the song in the raw version, and here it sounds like just another song by Royce.

They should have left it raw with a few frequency adjustments.

    Other than that, big song.

  • dopeee

  • It's okay... not that great. I like Royce but.. meh.

  • royce is tha truth

  • Royce and Premo do it again!

  • this is some emcee shit right here, primo's on point like usual

  • The track is hot man, Royce is probably my fave emcee at the moment!

  • Buzzin song lyrics are hard

  • Cant wait for street hop too drop...

  • if only this dude could get signed by a major label. he had a chance w/ aftermath, but ruined his chance then but i still love roycce

  • royce didn't ruin his chance, he was set to be signed by eminem, but em refused cuz he was "too busy", back then he was workin' on the movie 8 mile. however only 2 weeks later em signed 50, so royce was logically pissed off, which i totally can understand

  • before that he had a chance w/ dre, so yea he actually somewhat did ruin his chance. u dont even know that the story u just told me is true, royce might've made the whole thing up cuz if i recall they had beef the year b4 that. if that was tru, then yea i would b pissed

  • that's right, we don't actually know if this sotry's true, but i doubt that royce made it up.

besides that royce did work together with dre, he wrote Dre's song "the message" off 2001, and the original version of "xxplosive". and after that he had a dispute with d12, especially proof i think

  • yea, but heres the thing. when he was lookin 2 sign 50, there was a bunch of other labels lookin 2 sign him. he couldnt wait, so he had 2 probably hurry and make the deal. meanwhile, royce wasnt heavily looked at by a lot of labels, so he had time 2 wait. thats wut im guessin, but idk 4 sure obviously cuz im not involved w/ shady. bottom line: royce is more dope than 90% of the dudes who made it mainstream, and hes had some really bad luck and deff. is skilled enough 2 b mainstream

  • absolutely right man, he definitely is, royce is currently one of the best emcees out there

  • he actually went with tommy boy instead of dre, royce also felt like dre may have been upset about it.

  • This track already grows on me, Premo + Royce = WIN.

  • Nice track

  • could you put: " ROYCE DA 5'9 Shake this DJ PREMIER " into the video's tag please, people got to hear this

  • hella dope... can't wait for the album

  • this is gonna b a classic album 4 real

  • This album is gonna be crazy. Royce is the truth. Detroit is the music capital of the earth.

  • hell ye detroit have some dope ass music atm!

    This album gonna be hard!
