Believe me, I love thrash and play it as well, but i also enjoy of power, as well as folk, symphonic and so on. Im not the biggest follower of death but there are plenty of death bands I enjoy listening to.

And no, power metal is not powerless, the energy these singers transmit to us is simply incredible and its refreshing to listen to them.
