well, seeing as you have to do a few instances, it isn't exactly being "handed" gear. sure, it's easier than a 25 man raid, but there's still a litte work put into it.

it's an epic weapon, not legendary (I tried the PTR and got the sword myself). When the patch goes live (and now on the PTR), the Battered Hilt will be dropped randomly by trash mobs and bosses in the Icecrown Citadel 5-man instances (Frozen Halls dungeons).

Ahh kk, I downloaded the 3.3 but it said it's gonna take 7 hours to download the patch to play like you know when you click on test then it comes up the launcher etc i signed in then it said restart then said updating patch 7-8 hours any way to make it faster??

PTR shuts down around a few weeks before patch release, so you cant play the 3.3 PTR if 3.3 is already out, which it is.
