  • cool vid..gettin a 5d in a day or 2 cant wait

  • Whhoooaaaa! Looks brill - hey brainstudiox what lenses are you using with this? and is this in Budapest?

  • great clip whats the song please?

  • Same question as 24pStudio, which lens did you use ?

  • Your shaky cam technique kinda annoys me- but to each his own. Aside from that, looks great, man!

  • Ti amúgy hol laktok?

  • What lens did you use the shoot this. This IS FREAKING AWESOME MAN!

  • Jól ütitek fiúk! A közeledö bicajost elég jól fókuszoltátok. A Titiyo számjára is ráhibáztatok. Csak kár hogy a rolling shutter kicsit lehúzza a DSLR-ek hírnevét (ezen a teszten is sajnos láthatni)...

  • Great clip, what's the music?

  • what lenses arre u u sing here

  • amazing!!!

    fantastic!!!

    i want this Camera!

  • Van benne valami misztikus....

  • Nagyon tetszett.

  • You can add info about lens to description too )

  • Hey nice video,

how did you colour this?! looks very good!

  • the ex1 is better its a hd video camera and its got 2 xlr connectors going into it ...the 5 D is a stills camera and you would need a seperate sound recordist...d'you get me...

  • 0:09 which lens did you used?

  • too bad a poor student like me cant afford 5D Mark II

    :D

  • @janar17 its about priority, stop buying booze and expensive meals, make ur own meals, bring ur own lunch to school , cut down on smokes and you´ll get there :)

  • @frankytap

what about if you dont have a monthly income..

lol i would cut them totally out ... if i need to :D

  • What lenses were used?

  • amazing footage thank you for sharing.

  • did u use a DOF adapter??? or does the 35mm sensor give that depth of field itself?? great footage.

  • since the 5d is "full frame" you dont need a 35 mm adapter to have this great DOF

  • yeah, that's what i thought! "full frame" has such a huge impact on footage quality. how would you compare the 5d to the sony ex1? they seem very different and the price range is not the same.. but what does the ex1 really have that the 5d doesn't?

  • There is multiple differences between the 2 the ex1 have pro audio, more fps choice etc . But if you want a great "film look" the 5d is better but if you want a more versatile type of camera the ex1 might be better it really depend on your needs. Both are great . (but you would need a 35 mm adapter for the EX1 wich is arround 1k $ for the cheapest)

  • the sensor has nothing to do with the depth of field at all!

  • of course it does

  • it's a simple concept in photography. The larger the imaging area, and the larger the aperture opening, the shallower the depth of field.

Camcorders have such deep DOF (without a DOF adapter) because their image sensors are so small, with a DOF adapter the light is first focused onto a focusing screen that's the same size as 35mm film.

  • tres jolie

  • Damn, I needa upgrade my 5D to the mark II

  • how much did this cost and where did you buy it from, great footage.

  • i don't understand how a DSLR can look as good as a camcorder

  • 3 words...huge image sensor. Allows you to great a much shallower depth of field and also allows you to put whatever lens you want on the camera...obviously opening up a huge range of potential. Only thing that they haven't quite perfected yet is audio.....Thats really the only thing holding me back from getting a 5D mark ii

  • Canon fixed that problem with the 7D. The 7D has a microphone jack for external mics. Not only that, the 7D is 1080p HD at 24p & 30p / 720p HD at 60p

    I just got the 7D...

  • Gorgeous

  • Vazz kéne szerválni egy HD kamerát. Mennyibe van egy olyan?

  • 500.000-1.000.000 Ft.

    Jó válogatást ;)

  • perfect bro nice job, which country is this?

  • Budapest / Hungary

  • Great job. But why didn't you use your Glidecam instead of it?

  • we will dont worry :):)

  • yo brain you are goin to teach me on those gear, dude great work actually.

    i like, keep it up

  • wtf you can capture video on a DSLR camera?

  • Comment removed

  • yup. from canon you can do it (so far) from the 5d mk2, and the newer rebels.

and the nikon... you can do it with the d90, d700 w/e

  • superb! great music too

  • A tesztetek jobb, mint egy átlag videoklip. :)

  • Good stuff, really good video for an SLR aint it

  • A rohadt kurva életbe, ez nem semmi! ;)

  • Cool, what format did you render to before uploading to YouTube? .mov, .wmv? and fps 24, 29.9?

  • wow!

  • That's a nice test! Also, your city is very beautiful. Did you processed the video color or it is the video as captured by the camera?

  • No color correction, just the raw camera footage :)

  • @brainstudiox So, do you have a way of SHOOTING 720p with the 5D Mark II, or did you convert it to 720p with editing software? Is there 720p functionality in a firmware update that I've overlooked perhaps?

  • @wa1den Its downconverted to 720p with software.
