I'm sorry I thought I was talking to a fan of the movie, it's sci-fi, none of it is real. It is a different approach where the humans are in control and the large group of "invaders" are the ones in captivity. It's a complete role reversal. The fact that you interpret it the way you do is your problem.

The simplest way to say it is that we are the aliens in this movie (as in we are the ones doing experiments)

@bloodrunsclear Nothing is impossible dude. District 9 was originally a short created by Blomkamp. When the collab with Peter Jackson on the anticipated Halo movie fell over, Peter and Fran suggested he make an expanded version of his short film hence District 9 and arranged the funding, support etc for it to happen. Chase your dream, anything is possible.

Also remember how Jackson (now Sir peter Jackson) started out, home movies, low budget etc. Good luck.
