depends which way your joists run, and what size they are, you could post a vid, or pics, and i will try to help, but probably beat top get a local builder, or two, to give you some quotes and ideas.
i have a project in my home, i have an internal brick wall that has a small door opening and i want to enlarge it by 600mm wide and and extra 200mm high. Will i have add extra support to the roof beams, it is a load bearing wall ???... any ideas
