It's not a cat-stick(whatever the hell that's supposed to be), it's the Great Demon Lord Mike, who Yoriko summoned on accident(I won't explain how though, it's complicated.) And the bitch comment was unnecessary, though you're technically right, Mike is the one fighting(in the form of a staff and Cape), and not Yoriko.
You know. I don't think Yoriko does any of the fighting. It's always Mike and she's just trying (unsuccessfully) to stop him.
