  • BRAKE EVERGY REGENERATION? are you kidding me! there are already over 6800 BMW 7 recalls due to faulty brakes that wont be as good as the S class's! haha sad

  • @hairlesheep BRAKE ENERGY REGENERATION has nothing to do with brake faulty

  • @enesoft

The point is this car is sad!! brake failure

  • the bmw E60 had this....lol

  • Lol, the Prius had this in 1997:p

  • @danielalien lol det prius sux

  • @TheHrant111

Have you tried it? It's quite a nippy little car, and it has tons of gadgets:)

  • I dont like rear lights but still better that new e series

  • in the US the smallest engine with A6 is3.2

  • lmao \/ \/

  • I zont like ze rear

  • How do you know that it's not when it say's its brake regeneration meaning it regenerates either electricity/ power while braking.

  • it's similar to the Formula One's KERS but instead of storing the kinetic energy in a separate battery for power boost, it seems to recharge the battery and yeah it looks like a hybrid, i dont think bmw has any production electrics outside of prototypes

  • I think it's like, that normaly cars are regenirating energy all the time, but that costs fuel (like a dynamo on a bike).

Now, the new thing is, that it is only regenerating energy when you are breaking.

Because you want to slow down anyway.

  • So then is it a hybrid of some sort?

  • No.

  • no its nt a hybrid... it just uses what the f1 bmw team uses as a tru regeneration of power... what it does is that it absorbs the kenetic energy from braking, stores it in the battery by chrging the alternator... so when ur driving... the alternator actually isnt belt driven by the crank shaft... its seperated... n is connected to the brakes.... so that way... the alternator dnt take power from the engine n its increases the power output n fuel consumption....

  • @ammthizzowner

Alternator not belt driven... connected to the brakes?!?! LoL! :-D

Ofcourse it is belt driven... it just has an electric clutch like an A/C compressor, controlled by an electronic module... switching it ON and OFF depending on driving conditions like accelerating or breaking...
