  • Awsome guitar. Bluegrass seems to sound more bluegrassy on the d-18's and 28's. The 35's seem to be the best for songwriters, folk and more mainstream sound. Very cool guitar indeed.

  • Bluegrass and Irish music are joined at the hip.the Scots Irish that settled the Appalachians played the music they brought over and eventually it became bluegrass as we know it today. It is the music of my ancestors, and I play it as well.

  • bluesgrass for a irish man... DUH

  • nice flatpicking man ,,,

  • not bluegrass

  • would say it sounds more a irish tune?

  • Guitar's out of tune.

  • That's a poor example of bluegrass

  • @mattroc01 Can you not tell by this very short sample the guy's got talent? Don't need to hear him wanking for 3 minutes to figure this out. Rock on Brian love that D35

  • yyyiiiiiihaaaaaaaaa!

  • GO!!!! was right!

  • NIce...so what is the difference between a D-35 and a D-28..wood? structural,? size?

  • @zootella

HD has scalloped bracing (less is more when it comes to bracing, so having it "scalloped" means that it has cut outs in it to make it less). The 35 series whether D or HD both have 1/4 bracing which is the smallest on any Martin. The HD has the surther reduction in the form of "scalloping" and also has "herring bone" trim which is a bit more blingy. I think there's about a $400 price difference with the HD being more expensive.

  • @zootella D-35's have a 3 piece back. D 28's have a 2 piece back. I'm not sure if D 35's have a combination of rosewood and mahogany ? D-28's have Indian Rosewood, Older and Custom models can have Brazilian Rosewood.

  • Kickass!

  • own the guitar, and I don't a fraction of your talent!

  • Do you have the tabs for that?

  • Nice job..

  • Excellent playing! Many Thanks from Florida!

  • true you can play Bluegrass on a Martin, and this was great, but its not Bluegrass..

  • yeee

the bassline sounded like "friend of the devil" ;D

  • @teezbeatz I would rather say that the bassline sounded like a G major scale...

  • @Fsdrak
