Awesome giveaway! I have been scrapbooking at its present form for about 15 years, however I have been scrapping, one way or another, all my life just like you. I used to cut up all my mom's magazines to use. My scrapbooks then were old notebooks that I would take the spiral binding off, put together all the blank pages and re-bound it with string/floss. I had a job from hell and there was a craft store right by where I took my lunch. It turned out to be the best thing for me. I was hating my life, but got into crafts and found some light at a very dark time. If it wasn't for that crappy job I would have never started crafting!! I started jewelry making at first, but now I love everything crafty. :)

What got me started inn scarpbooking was i saw the Cricut on HSN about 3 yrs ago and that about the projects my kids could make using the machine. Then the cards then came the scrapbooking and have been hooked since then.

I started out sewing potholders when I was 5 (I'm now 55). My mom was always crafting so it comes naturally. I wanted to do whatever she did. My first rememberance of crafting goes back to second grade (many many years ago) working with clay. Down thru the years i've done many types of crafts. Thankyou so much for sharing your great talent as an artist. I believe we are artist our own way. My way at the moment is what consider as sharing my artist at work creating a bulletin board at work. I have it set up those of us have become grandparents. We have work together as "School Busdrivers" for over 20 years. So I scrap pictures to share with my extented famiily. I like sharing with them, and then bring them home to put in books later. I get all my ideas from great artist like you.

I have subscribed to your blog and your you tube channel. Thank you for giving stuff away. I started scrapbooking when I got married 15 years ago however, it wasn't until I had my second child that I realized how important it was to me to leave something behind for them. I have now ventured into doing other crafty things but mainly go back to scraping. As a social worker, having an outlet is important for me and it helps me appreciate the many blessings I have.
I'm 22 years old and have been scrapbooking for about six months now. I always had a journal growing up that I would write and stick random things in. I stopped doing as I got older but this past year I had alot of extra time on my hands and needed a hobby. I'm still new and am still learning all the different things you can make and what products to use. I also recently thought myself how to knit. I also like to paint and make jewelry.

I started scrapbooking in1997, Then moved over to cardmaking about 5yrs ago... now I love all papercrafting. I'm not sure why i started ...My grandmother scrapbooked, not luck we do now. she would journal and add news paper clipping and tickets from event... and just stick them in an old fashion photo album. Hi Kim. 600 subbies is great. i only recently reached 100. I started @ 3 or 4 yrs old. As a slum kid, I only had pencil stubs & grocery bags to draw on. At 6 I found out crayons existed. Later I taught myself crochet, embroidery, ceramics, card making and other art. Just started scrapping now that I'm retired. I've come full circle since on a fixed income it limits what I can buy but then I appreciate what i have more, learn to improvise, and still have fun. TFS.

I got into a really bad car accident, and broke my neck. So I became a stay at home mom. My daughter was going to camp, and cheering, also doing her Karate classes.So I thought she would like to scrap her memories. well she disliked it a lot. So I picked up a few things and off I went. And through the years I learned tricks to help my hands because the do not function real well. But with some help i do a pretty good job. Thanks Wanda

I have been crafting since I was a child. My dad had a workshop and I would help him paint. My Mom and I painted the art on the wood crafts. When I was 8 years old my mono uset to make scrapbooks I of course wanted to have my own so I use to cut out Pictures from magazines and I started my first scrap book and the rest is History. Later I started to make my own flowers and sew my own clothes, my mom was also a seamstress. I love Altered Art first and have many projects I have not shown yet on YT just no time. I've been doing this since I was a child. I started with sewing dolls. Later on, I moved to paintings and making cards as I loved playing with colors so much ! and continued with scrapbooking. I used to cut up all my mom's magazines to use. My scrapbooks then were old notebooks that I would take the spiral binding off, put together all the blank pages and re-bound it with string/floss. I got started scrapping a LONG time ago.. actually I began making cards first and did fairs and the whole nine, but then after I got bored of just making cards and I began to watch YT and found a friend who introduced me to 12x12's and I was hooked. I was hating my life, but got into crafts and found some light at a very dark time. If it wasn't for that crappy job I would have never started crafting!! What got me started inn scarpbooking was i saw the Cricut on HSN about 3 yrs ago and that about the projects my kids could make using the machine. Then the cards then came the scrapbooking and have been hooked since then.

I just came from your blog but I couldn't get my comment to go thru. Don't know what I'm doing wrong. Anyway, I've been crafting most of my life. I started out sewing potholders when I was 5 (I'm now 55). My mom was always crafting so it comes naturally. I wanted to do whatever she did. Congrats on the subbies! I got started doing scrapbooks back when you put things on those sticky pages or an 'old fashioned paper book.' I started rubber stamping (already did needlework, sewing, etc) then when a local scrapbook store opened after my oldest son was born I was hooked.

I'm sorry your sick. I hope you get well soon. What a great giveaway. I've been crafting for a long time. My first rememberance of crafting goes back to second grade (many many years ago) working with clay. Down thru the years i've done many types of crafts. Knitting, crocheting, macrame, cross stitch, beading, sewing,ceramics, my favorites now are cardmaking and beading again. I'm hoping to get into mini albums. I've just not made the plundge yet.

Thankyou so much for sharing your great talent as an artist. I believe we are artist our own way. My way at the moment is what consider as sharing my artist at work creating a bulletin board at work. I have it set up those of us have become grandparents. We have work together as "School Busdrivers" for over 20 years. So I scrap pictures to share with my extented famiily. I like sharing with them, and then bring them home to put in books later. I get all my ideas from great artist like you.

I started scrapbooking when I got married 15 years ago however, it wasn't until I had my second child that I realized how important it was to me to leave something behind for them. I have now ventured into doing other crafty things but mainly go back to scraping. As a social worker, having an outlet is important for me and it helps me appreciate the many blessings I have.

I'm 22 years old and have been scrapbooking for about six months now. I always had a journal growing up that I would write and stick random things in. I stopped doing as I got older but this past year I had alot of extra time on my hands and needed a hobby. I'm still new and am still learning all the different things you can make and what products to use. I also recently thought myself how to knit. I also like to paint and make jewelry.

I started scrapbooking in1997, Then moved over to cardmaking about 5yrs ago... now I love all papercrafting. I'm not sure why i started ...My grandmother scrapbooked, not luck we do now. she would journal and add news paper clipping and tickets from event... and just stick them in an old fashion photo album. I subscribed to your blog. I got started in scrapbooking 20 years ago right before I got married when a friend of mine introduced me to scrapbooking because she sold Creative Memories. She gave me a wedding album and helped me get started. Kim, what a great give away. Congratulations on the 600 subbies. I have been crafting nearly all my life.I started with sea shells, my grandmother started showed me how to make wall art with the shells. I taught myself how to crochet and knit in my 20's. My mother taught me to sew when I was 12.I just recently got into scrap booking and card making.

Hi Kim. 600 subbies is great. i only recently reached 100. I started @ 3 or 4 yrs old. As a slum kid, I only had pencil stubs & grocery bags to draw on. At 6 I found out crayons existed. Later I taught myself crochet, embroidery, ceramics, card making and other art. Just started scrapping now that I'm retired. I've come full circle since on a fixed income it limits what I can buy but then I appreciate what i have more, learn to improvise, and still have fun. TFS.

I got into a really bad car accident, and broke my neck. So I became a stay at home mom. My daughter was going to camp, and cheering, also doing her Karate classes.So I thought she would like to scrap her memories. well she disliked it a lot. So I picked up a few things and off I went. I have been crafting since I was a child. My dad had a workshop and I would help him paint. My Mom and I painted the art on the wood crafts. Mom taught me how to sew and my sister Julie got me into scrapbooking about 16 years ago. :) I love to alter! I am loving the clock you showed! I would have so much fun altering that! When I was 8 years old my mono uset to make scrapbooks I of course wanted to have my own so I use to cut out Pictures from magazines and I started my first scrap book and the rest is History. Later I started to make my own flowers and sew my own clothes, my mom was also a seamstress. I love Altered Art first and have many projects I have not shown yet on YT just no time. Congrats on 600 subbies, I always loved cutting and collecting pictures out of magazines when I was little, then when my daughter was born someone introduced me to Creative Memories and although I've deviated from that now, it's what got me started scrapbooking and it went downhill, tee hee from there. Awesome giveaway! Congratulations! I dabble in several mediums. I started with fabric because my mother was very creative as was my grandmother and on down the line. :-) One day my mom told me to "make my own" when I kept asking her for her stuff. lol So I did and have been ever since. :-)

And what got me into scrapping is when i was little my mom would take me to the thrift stores and they use to sell bags of broken jewlery and beads and i use to love making things out of them it was a real treat to me when she would take me so from jewelry making to cards to 12x12 to YOUTUBE woot woot then the world of crafts so it has been 20 years of dabbling in many things sorry i forgot to add this to my original msg but i didnt have enough space LOL!!!!
