Konami is going to continue to reduce the value of expensive cards because they are a COMPANY.

And what do all COMPANIES have in common?

They want to make money. So of course they're gonna throw all the rare cards in to easy to get boxes.

It's a shame. It really is.

Easy to get popular RARE cards going in to an EASY to get box = Kids begging parents to buy boxes OR collectors/players who want to get the rare cards without effort.

You could have bought the singles online or bought bunches of packs to get the same cards at a higher price. So they're losing money. They're getting money, yes, but much less of it.

2) How many people do you think use the internet to order cards instead of going to the local collectors shop or WALMART?

3) Even if people WERE to buy singles from other private sellers, Konami would still be making money from selling their boxes to the private sellers.

I never said they make LESS money. I'm saying that they make less money than they usually would have. If I bought 3 boxes of Phantom Darkness and 3 boxes of Gold Series 2, what's the chance of me getting a DAD from the PTDN box compared to the Gold Series box?

I don't think Konami cares that they are devaluing the rarity of hard to get cards.

And as you said about Gold Series 2 Pulls vs PD Pulls, I also don't know why Konami would take this route if they knew that the PD pulls are more difficult to get.

At the end of the day, people are still paying for their product and they are still getting money.
