  • video good,music sucked

  • 58,209 in vietnam, is alot

  • pretty much the worst song i've ever heard.

  • So true! Anyone who stands up to defend their country, whether from America or not, they need to be recognized. I myself am and American, and I truely aprreciate all of those Soldiers! They are true Warriors! Protecting and defending their nation, families, and people! And at the cost of their lives, they all diserve this.

  • Europe Europe Europe RULESSSSSSSSSS!

  • you said it best. no matter how any of us feel about wars, past or present. thoise who serve deserve honor and our respect. thank you for this beautiful piece.

  • Working on my P.H.D.

    dissertataion

    problem solved

    when i hit this

    IMMIGRATION INCIDENT 090302-000154

  • Why have we not YET declared our veterns Living National Monuments?

  • Absolutely beautiful and bittersweet. I'm a peace activist and military mom. You couldn't have said it or shown it any better. Your info on the vid says it all. Thank you and bless you.

  • good quote at the end by McArthur, very true.

  • The song is in the movie 'King Arthur' 2004, entitled 'Song of the Exile' written, arranged and actually sung by Caitlin Matthews. Unfortunately, because Disney is DUMB in actually recognizing what they have that is good, they did not publish it nor include it in the soundtrack CD. Idiots.

A most excellent video. Forget what I was trolling for when I tripped across this. But I added this to my favorites.

  • HOOAH

    GREAT VIDEO

    NAME OF THE SONG?

  • GOD BLESS THE USA

  • This video is touching. I dont think any civilian or soldier in his right mind would preffer war rather than peace but, sometimes, if we want peace, we have to be ready for war. Im not a soldier myself but I do have family in the army, and i always pray they make it home alive. We will never forget the heroes wh o busted their asses to save ours. Godbless America amd the us army. And Down with terrorism!

  • Great video, but I couldn't disagree more with the political philosophy behind it. War is hell, but sometime's hell's necessary.

  • hey nice video, where did you find this song?

  • a sad video. hurts to see all those who died from america. please pray for them all

  • this is a great video and reminds me of my brother who is out there..thank you for making such a wonderful video

  • Beautiful.

  • Ava,

You are an inspirational and talented young woman who has obviously been sent to earth at this moment in time to make us all stop, think and act. Please continue to share the important message of peace in your very special way. Blessings to you.

  • A poignant, beautiful video with overtones

  • who'd a thought a 16 year old was behind this haunting tribute. WOW

  • i think is very touching and you did a very good job creating this

  • This is a somber, sobering yet well done piece... I applaud the creator of this tribute, as a former Marine who served in the invasion of Iraq this was very special to me...no matter what side, it doesn't matter. death is indiscriminate.

  • love celtic woman, very nice

  • Outstanding video! ; ) I gave it 5 Stars! This is the kind of person I LIKE! May disagree with the war or wars, but still holds the troops in highest regard, and leaves the politics OUT! "The price of freedom is eternal vigilance". Can't remember who said that, but it IS true! I just Retired after 4 yrs Active, 17 Reserve. (Navy) Thanks for your kind video! : )

  • Check out my new "That's My Bush!" video.

  • IN ALL WARS:

In the year 1900 = 90% killed are soldiers, 10% civilians.

In the year 1910 = 85% killed are soldiers, 15% civilians.

In the year 1920 = 80% killed are soldiers, 20% civilians.

In the year 1945 = 70% killed are soldiers, 30% civilians.

In the year 1960 = 50% killed are soldiers, 50% civilians.

In the year 1970 = 70% killed are soldiers, 30% civilians.

In the year 2005 = 0.5% killed are soldiers, 99.5% civilians.

  • Grunts are cowards.

  • how the hell would you know

  • In this day and age 99% are civilians that die, not soldiers.

  • Aw, poor little Ava had to block me from commenting on her videos because she can't handle the truth.

  • A fitting video for the day Ava. As one can see the Sick Far Right finds it affective too. Else they wouldn't spew their usual Hate.

  • Since when do you liberals support the troops? That would be NEVER.

You're all a bunch of scumbags using the Iraq War for your own purposes.

  • tell that to your president who refused a 3.5 percent pay raise for our troops...scumbag

  • Republicans support the troops with a bumber sticker. Liberals supprt the troops with intelligent thinking.

  • JMcH - What has that to do with a memorial video?

  • So Ava, tell us - at what point should we have pulled out of WWI and WWII instead of letting our enemies kill HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of our soldiers?

  • a completely different situation in those wars so don't go there and why even bring politics into this its just a memorial video

  • Oh. Pardon me for letting this child's track record influence my perception of this video.

And what's the difference? Ava and her ilk complain that Iraq never attacked the U.S. directly. Well, neither did the Central Powers in WWI and neither did Germany in WWII. The only country that the U.S. had any right to attack (according to people like Ava) was Japan.

  • Oh your pardoned for that. But, what you are not pardoned for is your version of History which as is usual with most Bushusefools is short on facts but long on B.S. Following Hitler's orders to attack American ships on Dec 8th '41 Germany declared War against the United States on Dec 11th in accordance w/previous agreement w/Japan.

  • I knew you'd bring that up. How quickly you Bush-haters forget that Saddam spent years targeting U.S. planes with his arsenal. How many of his weapons emplacements did we have to destroy? How many of our planes would he have destroyed if given the chance? He constantly violated the "no fly" zone as well. The Saddam's war against us and our war against him never really ended after the Gulf War. Considering all he did between 1991 and 2003, I think we were very, very patient with him.

  • Man, you guys hate this little girl so much that you even attack a video where she is honoring and memorializing fallen soldiers on Memorial Day! What the hell's wrong with you? What did your retarded little boy Dubya do today... give another speech where he flubbed all the words again?

  • First of all I'd like to Thank You to responding as a gentleman instead of calling me a dick head or something. Anyways we joined WW1 for a bunch of reasons firstly we tried isolation however after Germany sunk the Lusitania witch had 128 Americans on board war talk became pretty rampant. Even then the country wasn't sure if we should fight Woodrow Wilson even said America was too proud to fight. .

  • In fact the Germans listened for a little bit and stopped randomly blowing stuff up, however that didn't last too long and the Kaiser under pressure reinstated unlimited submarine warfare.

  • In fact the Germans listened for a little bit and stopped randomly blowing stuff up, however that didn't last too long and the Kaiser under pressure reinstated unlimited submarine warfare. Then came the Zimmerman telegraph witch was a intercepted message from Germany to Mexico witch pretty much said declare war on the U.S. and ally yourself with us and we'll help you get back Texas, New Mexico and Arizona.

  • After the contents of the telegram got out, war was pretty inevitable that's pretty much the main reasons we joined the First World War. They directly threatened our sovereignty and our territory by stating they would help Mexico conquer us, henceforth we declared war. As for W.W.II after Pearl Harbor, December 7th, we declared war on Japan December 8th, nothing to do with Germany or Italy.

  • Ava, you are so wonderful. Thank you.

  • The USA and its allies follow a policy of divide and rule. To keep Turkey, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia weak, the USA stirs up trouble...

  • How can we ask the last person no matter who it be, to die for any war?

  • Now is the time to remember, to realize, that those who die in support of their nation, either, soldier, enemy or victim, do so with the express intent of securing peace for all nations, and it is this effort that the living hold the soul responsibility to actively achieve, through the strength, unity and peaceful change offered by the dawn of this precious tomorrow so costly secured . . .

    BL*M

  • And another great video from the wonderful Ava. Thanks for all you do.
