It's a film that was made in during season 1 of Batman TAS. It was in theaters on Christmas of 1993. Despite very positive reviews the film was pretty much bomb due to the fact Warner Bros. didn't advertise until a month or so before it came out, therefore not as many people saw it in theaters, it made 5,617,391 and it cost 6 million to make.

Oh, I know, the reason it didn't do so well just due the lack of early advertising. You need to advertise several months in advance to gain hype but not too early or people might begin to hate the movie before it comes out (that's what happened to Knocked Up for me, I saw so many trailers for it finally just go annoying). In short it was bomb (finacilally) in theaters due to WB's short notice ads, not the film itself. It went to become a bestseller on homevideo.

Nah she didn't kill him. Dude continued to show up in the animated series for a long time. I would check out Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker because it ties up a lot of loose ends in the Batman animated series. Plus Andrea shows up in an episode of Justice League Unlimited.
