I agree with you about a pure Google phone getting the fastest updates, and I can certainly agree with your review of the Rezound's Sense skin being the worst and slowing down what should be one of the fastest phones. The cure of course being to root and custom ROM the phone right away. That allows you to get rid of the bloatware and the crappy skin and customize the phone to exactly how you want it, including speeding it up by having vanilla android on it.
