Why do people keep comparing to Minaj..? Minaj is more of an animalistic rapper, and she actually does rap. @pvn2474 Actually, it's singing that she excels in. She has a lot more character in her vocals than most vocalists in pop these days. Her voice can be fierce, emotional, or delicate and fluttering. It's the rapping that I think is quite 1-tone. I don't see how she can't sing, when this video displays that she not only has superb articulation and character, but talent and individuality. So, maybe you just didn't listen for long enough.
