  • Is Rogoff still alive, Dan?

  • @nareas777 We should keep on praying she will performed with Israel Symphoney Orchestra. It would be great, indeed!

  • She is just so cute, nice, and talented. I thought that "sigh" at 0:44 by one of the audience was an added treat. I also love the reaction by one of the backup singers at 1:21 as Charice nailed that high note!

  • Charice kills me.. everytime..with her voice..she is spellbinding!!

  • G-d bless you, gorgonya88. And G-d bless Charice and all her fans(e.g. including me!). I'm a Filipino Jewish, and I'm so overwhelmed by her contribution to the IDF. I thank G-d for His gift of music to Charice.

  • Maybe it is G-d will that she performed at FIDF for all of us to enjoy her phenomenal talent. Charice is truly a gift from G-d to come during these hard times. Toda raba shanddysnanny.

  • toda rava means thank you,,,,yofi,,,

  • shes has more soul than me and im black. It always get me how pop singers can belt like that and keep their voices. As a professional opera singer myself, I would be outta voice in the first 3 minutes if I sang like that, but she is great. Really refreshing to see a real natural talent. God bless her and her career.

  • bassodivo, what a nice comment from you. In Charice's first concert ever which was held in June 2009 in Manila , she sang not 10 but 23 songs. Only two of those sons were duets. And........she was sick at that time, which i think was viral infection.

    She really is amazing!

  • to me she seems to have an amazing ability to maintain clarity and power for a long time. Her voice has a quality that just grabs and holds attention. a sweet person too.

  • Please vote for CHARICE's ALWAYS YOU at

    chartcentral(DOT)frihost(DOT)n et

Please vote hourly..let's make her #1 on the Grand Voters Hitlist X20 weeks

    Thank you Chasters!

  • Battle field is not only for Battle, sometimes, people there must have cool entertainer.

  • racocamoca said sounds like not necessarily Jap words in Filipino. I aggree bec I can communicate in Nippongo as well. Chinese sounds like coming fr nasal.

  • does terorist zionists (i ,d ,f) undrestand art ?

  • artin74, terrorism is subjective. We should not put political or religious color to Charice performance. Just enjoy the music.

  • i love charice and music and all kind of art ! and i agree with you on this, political and religious ugly side ! but art is beautiful (don't mix them ) !!

  • Music is universal. so singing for or in behalf of any particular person or group of people is immaterial. This is for comments posted here re-singing for the IDF,

  • Just like the Israelis, Charice is also God's choice.

How else can you explain her rise above from her desperate beginning?

Surely, God in all his will want for Charice to succeed. Don't you think so?

She has been working very hard to get were she is now and God will continue to bless her.

Charice , you are amazing!!! We love you. (Houston, Texas)

  • Thanks hermiemel.

  • toda Raba!! ( thank you) in hebrew for inviting me here!!! I guess it surprises DF well she get paid and they kove her I knew of several Jewish women who went gag over her bec. of KCET and other charities they have attended.

  • Charice, just in case you can come & perform here in Japan, pa kiss naman. I have an 11 yr. old daughter who hopes to see you perform LIVE here in Tokyo, maybe? More power and you're getting better, and more lovable than ever. God Bless.

  • I love this girl. She's wonderful. The best I've ever heard. She could sing anything. I wish her the very best.

  • IDOL!!!!

  • jprefresh, where in hell did you get your definition of MABUHAY? Mabuhay means Long Live!

  • ang galeng! just cant get helping listening to this over and over again

  • at the end part...look at those 3 back.up singers..hahh..they were amazed by charice!!!!!hahhhh.lol

  • Superb as always. I pray to God that David Foster could write and produce the right song for Charice. I request all Charice fans to buy a CD or DVD of Charice 1st original song if it will be available in market. Mabuhay to all Charice supporters. Thanks Dave Duenas for untirely support you had extended to Charice.

  • i didn;t understand either, but i think its a hebrew language... the party is for Israel Defence Force (IDF)..

  • what did she say?

  • very difficult to sing live like charice did in this video and she sang almost like acapella here.

  • thats the oether reason why DF is always bringing her anywhere to perform because he (DF) knows that she can make it

  • guys charice newest vid at oscar after party are now available !!!

  • where do i find it

  • I don't know what to make of her singing for the FIDF gala. However, I am sure being 16 she doesn't have much say in where she sings, nor is she so aware of geopolitics. Besides, there are alot of Jewish folk in the entertainment business who could increase her popularity.

  • It doesn't really matter where Charice sings. I think David Foster is trying to get enough exposure so that when he releases her album, it will be sold out. I's all planned.

It's just d same when somebody wants to promote a product, companies will spend a lot of money on advertising. This applies on Charice as well.

  • You are right. go release your album before being exposed to public, who's gonna buy your album? People will think, WHO IS THIS? Even your terrific voice won't get you anywhere without the exposure you must be needing. But as always, we all have something to comment to. So, me I 'm just thankful of all that I have watched in here and thank Charice for bringing our country on top of good things that the world can talk to, not just corruption and poverty in our country.

  • You know that my day is not complete if I don't watch Cha in You Tube. Kaya thanks to all d people who are posting her latest vids in You Tube.

I am very proud of Charice as well. For corruption and poverty in our country, I can't comment any further on this one. Well it's just like a disease that won't go away.

  • Continued... Josh's voice exuded life experience, although at the time time he was only 20 or younger. Its the same with Charice her voice and emotional expression seems that of an older person who has lived life.

  • She does dress accordingly to appeal to whatever audience she is singing in front of. In some of the Philippine shows shes dressed a bit more maturely with more makeup, semi-formal wear and heels. In Korea she was more school girlish more kawai (cute). In the U.S she is still innocent teenish in her manner of dress.

People are just wowed by her voice vs, her youthful appearance. When I first heard Josh Groban I thought he was older, because his voice sounded mature.

  • Charice sang Listen and I will Survive at the Oscar Party... And she also sang a little preview of her new song called "Finger Print". It´s a R & B song.

  • This girl is great! People in the U.S. really enjoy her and are intrugued by her because she appears very young and wholesome an ingenue. It is astouding to hear that voice coming from a person of that stature. Hope she retains her modesty and doesn't try to go the sexpot /tarty way like Britany, Christina Aguilara etc.Its the juxtaposition of her innocent/childlike appearance and her mature style of singing that is intriguing.

  • toda raba ( thank YOu !)

  • how come all charice's video is saying they're no longer available? how can i watch them?

  • i love charice!!!

  • FGHFG

  • yeah hermiemel her voice is so addictiive to listen to...and the more u want more of her...

  • MABUHAY means LONG LIVE it can be construed have a good life

  • Guys, Don't Stop The Music was reuploaded. Just type in:

    Charice Don't Stop The Music

  • WOW SHE IS AWESOME!!! XOXO omg im in looove with her voiiice!!!!

  • opps i didn't click the high quality. :P

  • bad audio.

  • this song is included in her album I guess. Because David Foster says here "Let's do the song that we are recording right now." I hope so.

  • mabuhay means "its nice to be a witness" or bravo or"im proud of you"

  • Wow!! Charice is so addictive to listen to. What a voice. She is the complete package!!

  • wow, she sounds really good....Big no to dancing though..lol

  • palengke ano ba yan charice dalaga ka na pero super talon ka tlga sa hagdan after mo kumanta, kaloka ka ha, infareness i dont anythingg to say with the performance, impeccable!

  • infairness darling... ahahah

  • that is what sets her apart. she is just a kid, let her be

  • i think charice should somehow be traind in ballroom dancing...just a bit wud be ok..this would be nice choreo for i will survive...panalo.imgine 16 yo knting balroom n step n powerful voice.....damn

  • I don't want to start a bloody discussion here... I love Charice the way she is...playful and child-like (not childish)...look at how she walked...she was like bouncing. :) This is refreshing to see from somebody who is going to be a future star, yet still has no problem showing her being a kid. I think that's a quality she has that endears her to everyone, young or old.

  • hahaha she said "toda raba" ,thats thank you in hebrew!

  • Agh. Sad to see all this debate here. Let's just enjoy Charice's singing please.

  • I am not saying that Israel is clean. They have their own faults and some of it are also undefinable. But they are civilized people, they will deal with things in peace if palestinians will deal in peace. If you are ashamed of a filipino like me then its your call. But i know my stand, and i know things which I am absolutely sure you dont know. Let your history eat you and you'll forever be ignorant about the reality of today.

  • You feel sorry for this poor palestinians who died not only in war but in hunger. But who chooses their fate? Nobody else but them. Israel is a rich country, they have everything to support all the aspects and needs of their people including their needs to win the war. you felt sorry for the palestinians because they are the weak ones. And again, who killed their own people? Its their leaders. Human shield is their greatest weapon. and they will blame Israel for all the casualties.

  • pls! no politics here, lets just leave that to world leaders, just enjoy the music, pls.

  • im sorry dessam2, i just answered masiram1603's false accusations. I really enjoyed charice as much as i enjoy debating with masiram. hahaha..

anyways, this lil girl is so amazing...cant get enough of her.

  • i love the arrangment for this song and the way she sang

  • This is not about territory and war for religion. This is a war of existence...and somehow the key to stop this is a mutual respect between them, and the palestinians should accept the fact that the state of Israel exists and there's nothing they can do about it. I am not against muslims, I am against terrorism and idiocy. Now tell me, who discriminates who?

  • The people in Gaza, instead of building infrastructures, hospitals, etc. to make their lives easier and more sensible, what do they do? they built tunnels. for what? to destroy Israel? Oh dream on...hahaha. They attacked Israel for 8 long years but Israel STILL gave them food and everything.

  • i love the way she sang this song... it's my favorite version now

  • Wow! She has these African American back up singers! Impressive! :P

  • cableguy, if Charice can throw the mic subconsciously, i am sure she can land on the floor perfectly when she jump. lol

  • The problem with our society, they expect too much from a person, nobody is perfect. Besides, she is just a kid, just because she is famous doesn't mean she should stop being a kid, let's not force her to grow fast. Pinay pa rin iyan, 16 lang, she needs to be a kid, let her be, I love her ways at playfull si charice, that's how she relax, mahirap maging famous, look what happened to britney when she stopped being a child, nasira lang. So, we should be happy na she remains a kid at the moment.

  • let her enjoy herself. We act like kids sometimes too. And signing while playing is better anyway.

  • that was so cute how she jumped down the stairs. lol :)

  • ang Lupet!!!

    Go Charice!!

  • GURL IBAHin mo ang dance move sunod charice beh kc nasosobrahan

  • cableguytoo... Give her a break. let her be a kid. I would dread the day she stopped having fun.

Unfortunately, to me "diva" means spoiled egomaniacs who are overly image conscious and make unreasonable demands for appearances.

Stay humble and grateful Charice! You will be rewarded many times over.

  • yeah you're right she didn't use the stairs she jumped right off the stage,,, omg! she's just a kid having fun unaware that people look at her as the next diva,,, charice will always bethe little girl ever playful charice trying to relive the childhood she never get to enjoy... will somebody please tell her she's not a kid anymore...

  • haha cableguy - you have a point. But perhaps we are also smitten with this girl because she is still a kid. She tosses the mic without thinking, what if she doesn't catch it? or she jumps off the stage...

maybe she just bought and wore her dream sneakers and wanted to try them out? haha.. you know how KIDS are..

but I agree she shouldnt sing God Bless America and jump off the stage, which she didnt naman..haha

but i enjoy it when she is playfull too.

  • cableguy, if Charice can throw the mic subconsciously, i am sure when she can land on the floor perfectly when she jump. lol

  • cableguy, let her enjoy and be herself. I don't think she's acting her behaviour, her kiddy side just comes out naturally so be it. I prefer her to show her natural and not act as the so called "should be" attittude. I'm happy for her that she seems at ease at work.

  • Charice jumped off the stage...she's a kid very playful! hehehehee

  • When Charice was three, her mother, Raquel, left her father, who was physically abusive. Unemployed at the time, Raquel remembers feeding Charice and her brother noodles three times a day before she found work. When money came in, a portion of it was saved so that Charice could enter singing competitions. Its a story that has been documented frequently by the fawning Filipino media.

  • Charice talks about her new celebrity status as you might expect any teenager to do. I like to be known by all these people. This is surreal and a dream come true. She describes the most difficult part of new-found fame as being tired, and the best, that I can buy what I like for my mom, myself and my family.

  • Two years after being discovered on YouTube, 16-year-old Charice Pempengcos astonishing voice has taken her from obscurity in the Philippines to the cusp of international stardom. John Mather talks to the prodigy, before her Dubai concert next month, about keeping a level head, her mothers influence and performing on Oprah.

  • In August 2006, the most-watched video on YouTube was of Bianca Ryan, the then 11-year-old winner of Americas Got Talent. Singing And I Am Telling You Im not going"

  • woaaa that was amazing go Charice :-D

  • ayan my part 3 pala! ehehe.........

    i will survive! hey yeeehhh!!

  • nice charice

  • i know right..shw worked it out you go charice

  • WOWEE!!! A*m*a*z*i*n*g (^_^)

  • muslims in mindanao didn't push out of their land. the pattern of migration began in southern taiwan to northern philippines to southern philippines to borneo, indonesia, malaysia to southern thailand. islam was brought to indonesia from central/south asia for spice trading, etc it spread out through malaysia to southern philippines to southern thailand. muslims in mindanao adopted islam and they become muslims.

  • masiram1603 ,

Filipinos have thier own problem with Islamic Extrimist.

Pls spare Charice vidz with your propaganda!

  • actually the philippines is very similar to israel/palestine. just as the palestinians were pushed off their land and colonized by the jewish state, the Moros and Lumads in Mindanao have been victims of ethnic cleansing by the US and Philippine governments...

and if Charice never performed for the terrorist IDF, then I wouldn't have brought any of this up

  • Comment removed

  • muslims in mindanao didn't push out of their land..the pattern of migration began in southern taiwan to northern philippines to southern philippines to borneo to indonesian archipelago to malaysia to southern thailand..you call them "malay race" it started in southern taiwan that's where our ancestors came from. islam was brough to indonesia from central/south asia for spice trading & other stuff..muslims in mindanao like abusayaff and islamic leaders are aggressive and harmful..

  • exactly: the philippines was mostly muslim until the spanish came and invaded, but they were never able to colonized mindanao, which remained majority muslim until the 20th century when the americans colonized it and then the philippine govt. how did muslims own most of mindanao in the beginning of the 20th century, but now only occupy 11%?? because of the US-Philippine govt genocide against them...

  • Ngek, we're not talking about the Philippines or americans...we're talking about IDF. hahaha. These soldiers were trained to DEFEND their state..you dont have any idea about the sufferings of their parents. Here in Israel, every single teenager from 16-19 MUST go to the army whether they like it or not. WHY? because they need everybody to defend not only their state but themselves. Thousands of them died because of nonsense war. and who initiates this war? your precious palestinians.

  • you actually consider yourself a follower of jesus? that's hilarious. he would be horrified of how you've corrupted his message. you're a racist and a religious fanatic. i hope you gain enlightenment one day. goodbye

  • hahahhaa...I am a religious fanatic????????? WTF? hahahahaha...Read your bible..oh maybe you should read your Koran. hahaha. You should be the one to be enlightened. Open your eyes dear, dont just clean your ears. Goodbye too.

  • majority of mindanao are muslim? huh? are you kidding me? im from mindanao bro...cristians are the majority there!!.....

  • u obviously didn't read what i wrote. today, christians are a majority in mindanao because over the 20th century, muslims were displaced and forced off their land, through both state violence and land usurpation. at the beginning of the 20th century, muslims were the majority of mindanao, as they were throughout the entire period of spanish colonialism in the philippines. my point is that muslims used to be the majority in mindanao until the govt-sponsored filipino christian colonization

  • this one sounds better! hahahaha!!! i agree with this comment .

  • she is just performing as an artist and nothing politicqal or whatever so be understanding

  • wait for her time to come

  • you dont know what you're talking about.

  • what's IDF?

  • IDF=Israel Defense Forces, (i.e. the Israeli military) which has been accused of genocide and crimes against humanity

  • yes accused! but its not true.

  • the state of israel has been condemned worldwide for its brutal occupations of palestine and lebanon. the majority of world opinion condemns the israeli state's violence, racism, and genocidal policies against the palestinians.. i know that charice pempengco has nothing to do with this, but i'm disturbed that she's being used in this way

  • LOL! thats what you call pure ignorance. thats what you get from BBC news and all UN's propaganda against Israel. I am not a muslim, in fact I am a Filipino and IM HERE IN ISRAEL. I know the truth and you dont.

  • i've been to israel and the west bank. the palestinians are treated horribly at the border check points by the IDF soldiers; some of those IDF soldiers make me sick the way they treat people. israeli settlers keep on moving into palestinian territory b/c they want to colonize it. it makes me so sad to know how the palestinians have been suffering from the israeli government's apartheid and racism. i know the history and the current reality.

  • colonize it? hahaha. you're kidding me. Israeli government pulled out people from Gaza a long time ago because Gazans killed there children. Israeli give them food and everything. Coz they are bunch of noobs and only live their lives through smuggling. hahaha. Do u know why israeli soldiers treated them that way? Coz they are criminals. they do suicide bombing inside israel and support Hamas with their stupidity. they are bunch of idiots.

  • gas0701.. you're a fucking racist. i'm ashamed of filipinos like u that go to other people's lands and don't even know the history. palestinians are paying for the crimes of europe. why didn't they carve a portion of germany to create a jewish state? there was no israeli state prior to 1948. jews came in and colonized it based on the fact that there was an israelite kingdom 1,000 years ago. palestinians were forced off their land. i hate filipinos like u.

  • hahaha. im just telling you the truth masiram1603, if i am a racist, then you are fucking ignorant. This land is for the Jews and every single christian in the world should definitely know that. And I am quite sure you are a muslim or worst, a non believer. I am not discriminating the palestinians, but they are not using their heads. They, in any way CANNOT win over Israel. Thats the truth.

  • bible said no one can destroy israel ....over the years all neighboring countries try to put them down but all failed. this is the proof that God is true to his word god bless christianity and all the jewish people. pls read often the bible it can change your life. godbless charice!!!!

  • Oh history..and how sure are you that HISTORY is accurate? hahahaha. There's only 1 reality that you need to remember. Israel will endure everything coz they were born to ENDURE it. God gave them this land and God will protect them forever. So no matter what people all over the world will say about them, its not important anymore. God is the judge. Not you and not me. =)

  • why are you bitter? are you a muslim?
