I don't know what to make of her singing for the FIDF gala. However, I am sure being 16 she doesn't have much say in where she sings, nor is she so aware of geopolitics. Besides, there are alot of Jewish folk in the entertainment business who could increase her popularity.
It doesn't really matter where Charice sings. I think David Foster is trying to get enough exposure so that when he releases her album, it will be sold out. I's all planned.

She does dress accordingly to appeal to whatever audience she is singing in front of. In some of the Philippine shows shes dressed a bit more maturely with more makeup, semi-formal wear and heels. In Korea she was more school girlish more kawai (cute). In the U.S she is still innocent teenish in her manner of dress.
People are just wowed by her voice vs, her youthful appearance. When I first heard Josh Groban I thought he was older, because his voice sounded mature.

I don't know what to make of her singing for the FIDF gala. However, I am sure being 16 she doesn't have much say in where she sings, nor is she so aware of geopolitics. Besides, there are alot of Jewish folk in the entertainment business who could increase her popularity.

It doesn't really matter where Charice sings. I think David Foster is trying to get enough exposure so that when he releases her album, it will be sold out. I's all planned.
It's just d same when somebody wants to promote a product, companies will spend a lot of money on advertising. This applies on Charice as well.

You are right. go release your album before being exposed to public, who's gonna buy your album? People will think, WHO IS THIS? Even your terrific voice won't get you anywhere without the exposure you must be needing. But as always, we all have something to comment to. So, me I 'm just thankful of all that I have watched in here and thank Charice for bringing our country on top of good things that the world can talk to, not just corruption and poverty in our country.

She does dress accordingly to appeal to whatever audience she is singing in front of. In some of the Philippine shows shes dressed a bit more maturely with more makeup, semi-formal wear and heels. In Korea she was more school girlish more kawai (cute). In the U.S she is still innocent teenish in her manner of dress.
People are just wowed by her voice vs, her youthful appearance. When I first heard Josh Groban I thought he was older, because his voice sounded mature.

This girl is great! People in the U.S. really enjoy her and are intrugued by her because she appears very young and wholesome an ingenue. It is astouding to hear that voice coming from a person of that stature. Hope she retains her modesty and doesn't try to go the sexpot /tarty way like Britany, Christina Aguilara etc.Its the juxtaposition of her innocent/childlike appearance and her mature style of singing that is intriguing.

I don't want to start a bloody discussion here... I love Charice the way she is...playful and child-like (not childish)...look at how she walked...she was like bouncing. :) This is refreshing to see from somebody who is going to be a future star, yet still has no problem showing her being a kid. I think that's a quality she has that endears her to everyone, young or old.

The problem with our society, they expect too much from a person, nobody is perfect. Besides, she is just a kid, just because she is famous doesn't mean she should stop being a kid, let's not force her to grow fast. cableguy, let her enjoy and be herself. I don't think she's acting her behaviour, her kiddy side just comes out naturally so be it. I prefer her to show her natural and not act as the so called "should be" attittude. I'm happy for her that she seems at ease at work.

muslims in mindanao didn't push out of their land. the pattern of migration began in southern taiwan to northern philippines to southern philippines to borneo, indonesia, malaysia to southern thailand. islam was brought to indonesia from central/south asia for spice trading,etc it spread out through malaysia to southern philippines to southern thailand. muslims in mindanao adopted islam and they become muslims.

actually the philippines is very similar to israel/palestine. just as the palestinians were pushed off their land and colonized by the jewish state, the Moros and Lumads in Mindanao have been victims of ethnic cleansing by the US and Philippine governments...

u obviously didn't read what i wrote. today, christians are a majority in mindanao because over the 20th century, muslims were displaced and forced off their land, through both state violence and land usurpation. at the beginning of the 20th century, muslims were the majority of mindanao, as they were throughout the entire period of spanish colonialism in the philippines. my point is that muslims used to be the majority in mindanao until the govt-sponsored filipino christian colonization

i've been to israel and the west bank. the palestinians are treated horribly at the border check points by the IDF soldiers; some of those IDF soldiers make me sick the way they treat people. israeli settlers keep on moving into palestinian territory b/c they want to colonize it. it makes me so sad to know how the palestinians have been suffering from the israeli government's apartheid and racism. i know the history and the current reality.
