hi, when I take out my quick release, the ball bearings started to drop out! how come this doesn't happen to you?

use a big adjustable wrench a screwdriver and a hammer. couple of taps and that lock ring comes right off

There are a bunch of different lockring/cassette removal tools, how so I know which one I need?

to remove a cassette, you pretty much only need a chainwhip, an adjustable wrench and a lock ring remover...and some elbow grease.
