@passerbyperson This video is almost 2 years old now - but Siobhan's voice is still beautiful - getting better and better in fact! If you want to hear more of Siobhan, go to the 'sharbas' channel. (Click on my link)
What a lovely and touching voice you have. I am a classical trained though non-professional mezzo from Germany and I started playing harp about a year ago. You inspire me so much for my own music. I wish you all the best for your future. Please continue with this work. It's all worth it. By the way, I was very please to find some Schubert pieces on your cd. ;)
Thanks for all the lovely comments! If you'd like to see more of Siobhan's videos, especially her latest "Dark Iniseoghain" at the Adelaide Festival Theatre, go the the "sharbas" channel.
i am an opera singer and of welsh, scotish, english and irish heritage, but when saw her at the willunga folk festival, and i was walking down a path and i heard this song, and her voice, her beautiful voice; it was like it was beaconing me to the tent. the first sight of her was like an irish princess.
Was this in a version of Ned Kelly with Mick Jagger at some stage ?
Best wishes and Good Luck from Dublin Ireland.
The music was the one thing they could not take away from us, they could take our land, they could burn our houses, they could deny us food and shelter, but they could never take the music from our souls without taking our very lives.......
