With my 96 i dont do it anymore,

Hey nice cobra! I've got a 98 cobra that just hit 40,000 on the clock, built motor, D-1 @ 18#, with an air to water IC. Can you tell me what kind of intake setup, and how big of an air filter you were able to run?
Thanks! If you mean intake manifold...its stock with IMRC deletes. If you mean Intake to the supercharger...I have an Anderson Ford Powerpipe and a huge 12" cone style K&N filter on that.

Thanks, this was my first time to the track with the procharger. It had 430rwhp back then. Look at my other videos I ran a 11.88 @ 120mph. Now I have a built motor and more boost...new videos will come when the track opens back up!

your car looks great!! and runs even better, I have a 98 s/c cobra convertible but my best pass is 12.6 @ 115 W/2.2 60s on my third try figting for traction, I'm pulling 425rwhp, and weigths 3797lb w/driver do you think I can probably hit 11s also?

Launch @ 4k with nittos or other drag radials..be sure to heat them up really good first though..They are like velcro off the line! Make sure to power shift between gears for your best time, that will help with several tenths easily when you do it rite!

I either spun a bearing or my timing chain tensioner went bad cause it taps now.

well if you are serious...you put the car in gear....rev it up with the clutch in and then dump the clutch and switch your left foot to the brake and keep on the gas. Its called power-braking. You have to give it enough gas to power through the back breaks. It will stay in place because the front brakes are stonger than the back brakes, but if you don't give it enough gas, you'll stall out.

its never overheated just my coolant light keeps coming on and wont go off.

if you have enough coolant in the overflow resevior then it could just be a bad sensor.

well if you are serious...you put the car in gear....rev it up with the clutch in and then dump the clutch and switch your left foot to the brake and keep on the gas. Its called power-braking. You have to give it enough gas to power through the back breaks. It will stay in place because the front brakes are stonger than the back brakes, but if you don't give it enough gas, you'll stall out.
