nice ride, nice run, i just hate it when people shake it into neutral like that after runnin it hard,like its gonna take away the beating you just put on it lol i did that with my first 5.0, and the tranny started to get a vibration when it was at idle from doing that. With my 96 i dont do it anymore,

its not gonna hurt it to put it and fifth.. i always downshift or keep it in a gear, i dont like lettin all the free spin on the neutral bearings/forks, i didnt beleive it but its true.

Hey nice cobra! I've got a 98 cobra that just hit 40,000 on the clock, built motor, D-1 @ 18#, with an air to water IC. Can you tell me what kind of intake setup, and how big of an air filter you were able to run?

Thanks! If you mean intake manifold...its stock with IMRC deletes. If you mean Intake to the supercharger...I have an Anderson Ford Powerpipe and a huge 12" cone style K&N filter on that.

Thanks, this was my first time to the track with the procharger. It had 430rwhp back then. Look at my other videos I ran a 11.88 @ 120mph. Now I have a built motor and more boost...new videos will come when the track opens back up!

I've been close to that...around .005 I think, I gotta find the timeslip. But that was with my AWD turbo talon I used to have. I think in the cobra it was like a .015 or something.

Hey thanks alot! If you got some drag radials on that thing, im sure 11's would be totally possible. I dyno'd at 415rwhp, little lighter than you at 3550lbs with me in it. So def. possible! Good luck!

Launch @ 4k with nittos or other drag radials..be sure to heat them up really good first though..They are like velcro off the line! Make sure to power shift between gears for your best time, that will help with several tenths easily when you do it rite!

What charger and how much boost are you running?

I have MT ET Streets on it. I can't powershift cause my t45 is on it's way out. But in this video, it was my first time to the track with the procharger on. I was running 9psi. I have a built motor now and I'm running 13psi. I'll have new videos soon!

Mines been down for a while. 98 blk SVT P1 @10lbs, TKO, alum ds, ported intake, mid lengths, off X, Flows, 3:73s, Nitto drags, control arms. I either spun a bearing or my timing chain tensioner went bad cause it taps now.

nice, ive got a 96 cobra also. i wouldnt trade it for anything. did you ever have a problem with your cooling system?

nope, never overheated on me. Got 111k on the car.

its never overheated just my coolant light keeps coming on and wont go off.

if you have enough coolant in the overflow resevior then it could just be a bad sensor.

i have a question for you maybe a stupid one, but i like just got my lisense and my first car a cobra and i was wonderin how to burnout?

well if you are serious...you put the car in gear....rev it up with the clutch in and then dump the clutch and switch your left foot to the brake and keep on the gas. Its called power-braking. You have to give it enough gas to power through the back breaks. It will stay in place because the front brakes are stonger than the back brakes, but if you don't give it enough gas, you'll stall out.
