i merked this wyveryn with a scythe. i think the lance and the scythe did around the same amount of damage, if not the lance was slightly more effective,love the vids they are a great help

the ps2 games are alright they have a bit of a better graphical boost but mh1 has all the same things as mhf1. So if your a previous hunter i advise u get mh2.

Aw man, I went back and played the original Monster Hunter last week, and boy was it hard! No Farm, no Kitty Kitchen, no buying potions!! On top of that, O and X are switched and you have to use the right analog stick to thwack stuff!

The monsters seem a bit easier in the new versions too. You can't block roars in the original (as far as I can tell), and the whole game seems a little unpolished, which I find gives it a charm that I miss. Thanks for this video! :)
