poor jews, no body wants to welcome them.....that is one reason why America established Israel so far from it. America had plenty of space for this small population...there are more mexicans in American then there are Jews in this world......people just hate jews, and always will.
@tbantaloni69 Hatred for Jews is Satanically inspired. The god of this world, Satan, hates the Jews because they are a covenant people of God. Hatred for Jews is therefore nothing new, it has been around since God first made his covenant with Abraham.
if Iran wont pursue these weapons then this is a bad idea. Record has shown that the US, Britain and NATO attack those who are unarmed or give up their weapons (Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan). However, it is demonstrated that they refuse to attack countries that actually have such weapons (North Korea). Iran should absolutely seek these weapons in order to deter a western invasion.
We may as well all learn to live with iran with nuclear weapons capability, sanctions won't stop them and any agreement with them isn't going to happen in 100 years, attacking them pre-emptively based on maybe's is nonsense, they are not containable with out ww3 and the usa/uk/france can't win that war alone so they won't start it.
Iran has never planned to build a nuclear weapon. So this report is shit...
I'm still waiting for you LIARS and biased reporters at infolive to report on Andrew Adler... But I guess you don't have the balls to apply self criticism and call out one of your own zionazis
You wrote, "Iran has never planned to build a nuclear weapon...Durp"
I hope you are correct; Israel/Mossad is difficult to deceive. I did 20 minutes in research starting with "Institute for Science and International Security" leading to an "IAEA" report of Iran and Iran's nuclear pursuits. The report indicates Iran, (at least)...was...repeat...WAS...pursuing nuclear weapons development.
Philosophically: How can one be certain of anothers plans/intentions?
@Timothyk11 Fair enough response. The IAEA, Israeli intelligence, and every single US department have constantly said "There is no evidence Iran has continued it's nuclear program".
Where as, politicians are repeating opposing rhetoric. They keep saying Iran has to prove it's not building a nuclear weapon. But it's already signed almost all International treaties, and as allowed international observers in to view ALL of it's facilities.
@Timothyk11 Again you have to prove a negative. You're worried, that MAYBE some time in the future a radical religious zealot or terrorist might take control of the nuclear weapons because "Islamic republic" is in the title.
But you didn't answer how you're assured by Israel being armed... It's a religious state, with potential for zealots to take control...
Look up Deir Yassin, and the King David Hotel bombing, if you think Israelis are immune from radicalism, and safe to posses nuclear arms
@Timothyk11 I also might add, that Pakistan has lived through military coupes, and years of war, and have never used a single nuclear arm. (Neither has ANY islamic regime)...
In fact, the only country in the history of the world to ever use nuclear weapons against another country is the US.
As stated before, the fact that Iran hasn't invaded another country in over 200 years where as Israel invades other countries constantly, should be enough assurance of who's the real threat in the region
@Timothyk11 Also if you need more assurance that Iran doesn't have a wish to "wipe all the jews into the sea", then look no further than Iran's own borders.
Which posses 30,000 Jewish Iranians who live as EQUAL citizens, even serving in the ISLAMIC Iranian national guard government.
Making Iran the second largest population of Jews in the middle-east, outside of Israel. And one of the top 5 largest populations of Jews per capita on earth
@Timothyk11 The politicians want Iran to disprove a negative claim. Which is impossible. You can't disprove... It would be like me telling you to prove to me that you don't intend to built a nuclear weapon or have intentions of building one... How can you prove to me that you're NOT doing something? The party making the positive claim is the one who must offer proof. Hence the tenants of the American Judicial system says (or at least what it's supposed to)
I agree fully that one cannot prove or disprove a "universal negative".
But more importantly (to me),your reference (and many others) "innocent till proven guilty" is incomplete & promotes unrealistic perspectives(imho). The complete statement/priciple:"Innocent till proven guilty in a court of law"...repeat, "...in a court of law". My perspective:I see my mother murdered and I'm certain of the identity of the murderER, do NOT expect me to consider the criminal innocent!

@Timothyk11 Yes, but who has Iran murdered? That's the topic. Again, we have to prove first Iran has a nuclear weapon (this is the hardest part because it takes the most amount of evidence to prove).... Then if we establish that, we have gauge whether it is a threat, how much of a threat, and what action is required.
My point is, even in worse case. What proof do you or anyone have they're building a weapon

@Timothyk11 Yes so state what evidence you have that iran has a nuclear program. Then state if they do, what threat if any that would be.
I've told you this repeatedly. This story is shit, it says Iran will not pursue weapon's building THIS YEAR. They haven't yet shown that Iran is building a nuclear weapons program AT ALL

I've made my case, for why Iran doesn't have nuclear weapons, and if they did it wouldn't be a big deal. Now make your case
@Timothyk11 If you want to see what jumping the gun is, then look no further then the war in Iraq.
Look at what all the hootin and hollering about nuclear weapons lead to there... Absolutely nothing, but a vacuum of power control, looting, human rights violations, death and destruction.
So maybe, just maybe we shouldn't over think a "nuclear iran"...
Instead of trying to manage whether Iran has weapons or not, we should think of decreasing the global stock as a whole
I agree fully that one cannot prove or disprove a "universal negative".

@Timothyk11 Let me ask you this. Israel hasn't signed a single binding nuclear treaty with the international community, they constantly invade their neighbors, they're guilt of not only human right's violations but blatant war crimes, and they have an arsenal of no less than 200 nuclear weapons.
With this information, where does Israel have any credibility in saying who can or can't have nuclear weapons, and also who is the real threat to the region?
@skinnywhop87 If Israel does in fact have nuclear weapons, Israel didn't need to sign the NPT to gain access to the technology required to build them. The kind of skills needed to develop nukes is easy for Israel to find within their own population. In contrast, Iran is piggybacking on developed countries technological achievements by agreeing to the NPT which in turn allows Iran access to nuclear technogy that, Iran would otherwise not be capable of developing on their own.
@minddesigns The NPT is for after you already have nuclear weapons. And yes Israel is obligated to sign onto it, especially if it thinks it has any validity in saying whether Iran can or can't have nuclear technology, and to what degree they can enhance it.
BTW as far as I know (I can be wrong), but Iran hasn't given any significant sign they actually want to fully go to a nuclear program. If anything they'll do what Japan did, and show they can quickly put one together if they so choose, w/o
