  • how do you make that fast drum beat on 1:29? thanks

  • @DjSzymanski94

Its a snare roll over the main beat i think

It starts out kinda slow, like a snare hit on each of the bass drums,

    then gets faster and faster

    thats what i hear anyway

    hope this helps

  • how do you make that fast drum best on 1:29? thanks

  • Great rave stuff. Hypnotic and mesmerizing! Mind checking out my GB song and letting me know what you think? I'd appreciate it a lot. We can all learn things from each other. Everyone has their own unique viewpoint and musical sense. Its great to hear what everyone is doing with Garageband.

  • fuckin nice ^^

  • haha this is good. i keep trying to do something like this in media on the macs at school but i dunno how to get a snap so it doesn't sound off when i use the window keyboard

  • how do u type it all out??

  • Awesome stuff man :D the drums at the beginning bored me straight away though, I'd have maybe added something before it or something really quiet over it... or even just changed the beat a little bit. I just think that beat has been used too many times already. Keep it up though.

  • this is good! good job!

  • very good. check out my channel. how to be neo video

  • what drums did you use? they dont sound like the built in electronic kits, thanks a lot!

  • i think it was techno kit

  • i made something like this. how do you post a garageband song on youtube. i cant figure it out

  • export the song from garageband to itunes, then use imovie or windows movie maker to put a picture or video to the song and upload it

  • thanks

  • @gnarmadillo one way would be to go to imovie take a pic or a clip and then go to the music note button on the right side click it and there you will see all your music on your hardrive itunes and garageband

  • sweet

  • this is sick!

  • garageband doesnt have a drum machine howd u do the beats

  • thats sweet nice sounds

  • I make songs all the time through garageband and no offfense but some of my pwn this one

  • this is so sick!

  • playing long riffs on the keyboard and getting it to sound good is so difficult. props man.

  • what sound are you using for the bass beat?

  • i love garage band... i make all my music in it. examples in my profile if you're interested.

  • COOL!!!

  • Really nice job. Better than anything I can do with that app.

  • Where did you get the drum sounds?

  • garage band

  • Yeah, but was it a loop?

  • read the description, man.

  • 1:30 onward this song really starts to kick ass nice job

  • if i buy a new mac today will it come with garageband??

  • yah

  • Very cool. Nice jam! Impressive gb skills, my friend!

  • Im saving for a mac will take a while tho lol hopefully il be able to do stuff in garage band.

  • I cant seem to make my stuff stay in time on garage band as I type it all out with the musical keyboard and whatnot. It all sounds sloppy and "live" sounding.

Also how do you make stuff fade and whatnot?

I cant seem to make stuff this fast at all? Help me please!

  • Double click the audio track. Use 'timing enhancement' and/or slide the notes around to where you want 'em.

Select the track. Click on 'track volume'. It opens a window just beneath that track. Click on the line to place markers, & slide them up and down to change volume.

Tempo adjustment is at the very bottom center of g/b window.

    Good luck & have fun!

  • super nice one

  • Awesome

  • how do you change the tempos and how did you get the melody so fast using the keyboard

  • You get the tempo up when you create the project.

  • WOW... is it possible?? Tjeck out mine

  • damn dog major props. its nice to c someone with some actual skill killin it on GB. there r so many ppl who just usethe loops and have no creativity. nice job

  • thts sick bro im trying to make mine sound good, its sorta werkin out but urs sound awesome

  • awesome, check mine out

  • how do u fix timing problems

    i can make good shit

ubt somtimes i have little timing issues i cant fix!

  • once you've finished your musicical typing, double click on the green audio track. down the bottom there will be all these little squares representing the keys you pressed while recording. highlight them. then on the left theres a thing called timing inhancement. chose one close to what you think you recorded, ie. fast riff 1/32, simple bass riff or drumming etc 1/8. you'll get it pretty easy. makes your songs sound sick.

  • ha i can make a better beat

    :P

  • starting at 0:27 did you type out all those notes or was it some sort of digital stepper thing? if it is please let me know how you made it, i want an arpigator in garageband so bad

  • i typed it out. i think the instrument is under synth basics. its called sequence element

  • sounds great m8 ;)

  • yo thats really good i wish i was that good.

its definitely harder than is seems.

  • That's great! I wish I had a Mac but I have Windows thusI can't get the Remix Garageband Pack. I just the school computers. =)

  • me too...sigh

  • me and my friend made an awesome 30 sec techno song at school today but we didn't get to finish coz the bell went and we weren't allowed to stay back.

  • yeh i used no vstis. lol i dont know how to get them with garageband. i only used cheerful trance etc- all the standard instruments.

  • really good man, you used no loops? thats great! I used loops in mine, and just a little Keyboard MIDI in some, please take a look at mine and tell me what you think

  • how d you get it perfect timing without loops

  • you go into the editor thing. its the scissor symbol at the bottom right i think. then you align all the beats by dragging each individual green square into line.

  • oh yeah thanks

  • dude did you use vsti's?:D

how did you get that arpeggiator?!

  • nice work

  • Yeah, people, check my interpretion of trance with Garageband. I'm sure you'll like it more than this ;)

  • Nice job without using loops.

  • no loops, wow, brilliant piece of music. You are amazing at garageband.

  • You have to make a video and add the music to the video.

  • Are you Dumb or what!!??

  • FL studio is more advanced than Garageband...

  • I dare to doubt, very. I used both and i know my share

  • So What?...

  • HELP ME! how do i type music out or what ever he said ?? i wanna make my own song

  • select the instrument u want, then go to window and then musical typing. then click record and start typing out the notes!

  • what instrument did u use

  • for the main melody cheerful trance, then techno kit for the bass drum, dance kit for the hi hat, hip hop kit for the clap and somethin synth bass for the bass on the offbeat! enjoy

  • do i need a electric piano or can i use my ((typing key board)))

  • you can use your computer keyboard. thats wat musical typing is

  • yer i just found out... how the hell did u make this beat up

  • i just recorded four beats of the techno kit bass drum then looped that. then the dance kit hi hat on the off beat with the synth bass. the clap every second bass drum kick

  • how the hell did u think of the beat

  • Listen to trance music, you should get lots of ideas if you have a musical ear.

  • i listen to hardstyle

  • real nasty dude props!

  • Simple yet engaging trance song. Kudos to forza for a brilliantly designed piece of music which still has great potential, and will perhaps attain perfection.

Personally, I'm hoping the song will be developed, so that it sounds richer and fuller, in addition to an already remarkable tune.

Also, agreeing with orangedonkey, the transition at 2:00 needs working. The melody changes abruptly and has no segue into which is quite a nice denouement to the song.

    Once again, kudos to Forza.

  • Garage Band is a default music player that comes with a new MAC computer so too produce such great sound and vibe from a free piece of software is excellent.

A great melody kicks in at 1:03 which IMO deserves praise. The transition at 2:00 needs a slight adjustment, but overall it sounds excellent.

Perhaps a new slower song Forza for the house lovers such as myself would be really pleasing.

Have made such a great thing out of such a basic utility, this must be recognised.

    Great work.
