As for dead Turks, there were millions in the Balkans, Caucasus, Anatolia and the Middle East... Don't forget, the Turkish Empire survived until 1923, which comprise 34 modern nations, most which never existed in history. Including Armenia(a province of Rome, then a brief kingdom).

Armenia actually had 4 dynasties, and plenty more periods of autonomy (under the Byzantines they had Armenian themes, and Persarmenia was the eastern portion controlled by Persia). You can find references to Armenian states from ancient Persia, to Rome, to Byzantium, to the Crusades, and to the autonomous regions in Russian Armenia and the Ottoman Empire (Armenians were an official millet for hundreds of years).

But in your mind, this does not count as existance.
