  • 'pray for Michael' what the fuck is that going to do?

  • @TENBolt Prayer is what all us christians are called to do. Recently a friend at school asked me to help her with some problems she was having at home. I told her I would love to help her but I was too busy because I was going to the Students for Christ prayer meeting. She asked 'what do you do at that prayer meeting'. So stupid. Non believers have no idea. I was like 'praying for people who need help!'.. I wish these people with needs would just understand they can not get in the way of prayer

  • Wow. Stunning lack of holding this guy to account there, Mal. It seems your friendship with him is clouding your judgement. He's defrauded hundreds of people out of their hard earned income and you're telling people to keep it quiet and not be bitter. What a sad reflection on your 'leadership'.

  • Do not put your faith in princes. Mega Churches focused upon power are very vulnerable. Because Charismatic churches tend to emphasise the power of praise & miracles, unsurprisingly reaching out for money & centralised, controlling 'heavy shepherding', they are very vulnerable. Leaders WILL be held to account.

  • Very good teaching...we have to learn to add these dynamics in balance to our lives it is one thing to read and understand Christian morals and principles in our lives and a much higher thing to practice them

  • Continue to trust christian leaders? o.k. let's trust Jim Jones,Jim and Tammy Baker, David Koresch, Jim Swaggart, Ted Haggard (a personal favourite) et. al. Why don't you spend time praying for Mike G's victims, you know, the forgotten ones, the ones who suffered at the hands of such a selfish person.

  • Throw the cunt in jail.

  • I quote: "Keep trusting your christian leaders, there's no reason to do otherwise" - ah, there's the agenda! I guess that proves the point of my post below. Also, to any readers here, I think it is disingenuous to say that failures in christian leadership are rare. Just goodle "christian evangelists scandals" and see if those are only a few names. And that's only the evangelists. I haven't even started on the many catholics caught in abuse scandals, etc. No, sir, you cannot say this is rare.

  • @Freethinking2010 Yes, alot of leaders fail. They are human beings. It's unfair to expect Christian ministers to be perfect and bash on the ones that mess up. They're just people. We want to "move on". Our religion is about forgiveness. Jesus already paid the price for everything we would do wrong, even lying about cancer. So the best thing to do, is to move on and help Mike.

  • @ProdigyKimXP There is a difference between "trying to be perfect" and deliberate and malicious fraud. So, if this Mike guy came back and committed another fraud, you'd still want to forgive him? Why do you people set these frauds up on a pedestal? Look at the long line of christian evangelical scandals. They're the rule not the exception. Why don't you open your eyes to this? Stop being duped and taken advantage of. By the way, jesus did not pay the price for me on anything, thanks.

  • @Freethinking2010 It's obvious whatever I say isn't going to change the way you think and I am firm in my faith and will not be swayed either. I am aware of the issues you bring up, but there are issues in every religion and belief. Of course we'd forgive Mike if he sinned again. We all sin and need forgiveness. That's the awesome thing about the religion I believe in. It's all about unconditional love. We all make mistakes and need to be forigiven.

  • @ProdigyKimXP So, when you ask me and others to "move on", I simply cannot and will not do it. If I can help my fellow man/woman to become aware of the many religious frauds out there, then I will do it. It's up to them to believe what they want, but religion no longer has privilege and should not be set up as something that cannot be criticised. So, I'm afraid I cannot move on. If Mike had cheated the welfare state by lying about cancer, the state would not have moved on, but locked him up.

  • @Freethinking2010 Don't let the 'frauds' change your view on what the Christian religion is about. There are people out there who do, unfortunately, make Christianity as a religion look bad, but that's just people making mistakes. It doesn't change our religion. All religion can be criticized. It takes faith to believe and to my knowledge, Mike was not locked up.

  • @Freethinking2010 you know, you seem to put us christians up on a pedestal. yet, we are only human, doomed to sin like the rest of the world

protip: catholics are different to chhristians. trying to compare us side by side is like apples and oranges

  • @pattso92 Apart from some doctrinal and non-doctrinal differences, they are pretty much the same thing. Take 'christian' to mean " follower of christ" and that broadly gets you all under the christian umbrella. But I guess , strictly speaking, I stand corrected and you are right to point out the differences between catholics and other christians such as the Protestants - superstitious differences which led to years of violence, death and terror in Northern Ireland, for example.

  • @pattso92 Oh.. so christians are doomed to sin?

    what's the point then?

I thought the Christian life was one of grace, awesomeness and victory! That's what they say at altar calls. But the truth is: don't worry.. even if you do become a christian you won't be any better off.. you'll be doomed to sin anyway..

  • @Freethinking2010 You can also google plane crashes. Yes there are plenty of them. But that doesn't mean we scream in fear every time we board an airplane (for most of us at least) Have there been plenty of plane crashes? Yes. Does that mean they happen very often? No

  • Wow, what a dreadful attempt at a "let's sweep this under the carpet and move on". Disgraceful, sir. Exactly like the catholic church, all you are interested is trying to preserve some integrity for your religion and its leaders. Harldy ever during this despicable guglielmucci episode do you or your church or the pastor himself ever apologize to the real cancer sufferers who have been hurt here. Shame on you. All you care about is protecting your superstitious religion. You're not conning me.

  • @fijization..... you cannot take all trust out of your leaders at church. The scripture you quote is being taken out of context. That word means dont put your Faith in them.. the faith you have in Jesus shouldnt be misplaced and be put into a man. God has put PEOPLE in leadership since the beggining of time to lead other PEOPLE... MOSES,ISAIAH,AARON,JOSHUA, these men were flawed but STILL GOD himself put them in a placeof leadership because people need leaders who hear from GOD to guide us.

  • @7pastorb "GOD himself put them in a place of leadership because people need leaders who hear from GOD to guide us." You have got to be kidding. What makes you think that anyone else is more discerning, intuitive and insightful than you are? This is the problem with religious rubes. You give your power away and are taken advantage of most of the time. Grow the hell up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @richwfd2002 Cussing at me doesnt make your idea any more valid. Their are plenty of other more insightful and intuitive than i am..what are you even talking about...im not giving my power away i am understanding and trying to explain to you that the kingdom of God is made of those who esteem themselves to be nothing...ITS NOT OUR POWER!!

  • @7pastorb I wasn't trying to offend anyone. I just get frustrated with so many people who are willing to put preachers and other self-proclaimed experts on a pedestal. And how are you not giving your power away when you assume that others can hear the "voice of god" better than you can? Do not let them lie to you....

  • Michael Guglielmucci was never a minister,,he deceived his way in and got what he wanted. in the end..

  • Michael took a big step, he couldn't take it no more. The beginning of transformation is to be honest infront of God, when you're at your weakest point. Thank God.

  • you are wrong in saying keep trusting our spiritual leaders. The Bible says It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man. The mesage should be centered on the CROSS. If we evade the CROSS than you and your leaders are evading sin. The apostle Paul says "But we preach CHRIST CRUCIFIED a stumbling block to jews and follishness to gentiles.

  • Ok am I the only one one who notices that the title makes no sense. because in this movie he says, "But, still believe in your christian leaders" he talks alot about christians but nothing negative about us. wierd right?

  • for 2 years? where are the prayer warrior people of that church who have gift of discernment? no warning vision, impression, dream to MIchael Guglielmucci that he was just lying? well.. the tuth will set us free & JESUS is our HEALER! focus on the lyrics/word not on the person singing the song.

  • I must say he made one horrible mistake. But I do agree that he is human and can make mistakes. Even the great kings mentioned in the bible made mistakes when they stopped relying on Jesus. This is no different.

  • The improtant thing about Christian Pastors, always make them earn your trust, they will value that trust more. But when Pastors become arrogant and ignorant many people get burnt and suffer burnout. It;s important find the right church to belong to, even if that takes twelve months. Search carefully and never be affraid to ask questions. When Pastors act arrogantly why am I not surprised that more people leave the Christian Church. Please note that I am not referring to Michael in this post....

  • @GOLFERWOOD5

    Your comment makes no sense

"improtant thing about Christian Pastors, always make them earn your trust" whats that about they shouldn't have to now if what mickey did then yea but also here

"But when Pastors become arrogant and ignorant many people get burnt and suffer burnout. It;s important find the right church to belong to" what in the world arrogant ignorant what are you even talking about? Michael Guglielmucci - Why Do Christian Ministers Fail? the title looks wierd dont it

  • well said

  • 1:15 - 1:23

Couldn't have said it better. We're all vessels and God will move and speak through anything, the hardest part is understanding it all.

    Great job with this video.

  • ...Mike is still GOD'S man and no one has the right to judge what hapenned!if God 4gives then why shouldnt we?..i hope someday people will learn to condemn the sin not the sinner.atleast he confessed and he changed, whatever everybody says it is still up to GOD abba Father who holds the key to our salvation..people are not perfect thats why we commit sins...

MAY GOD CONTINUALLY BLESS US ALL!

    PRAY 4 HIM...

  • mal fletcher your awesome. i love the veiw you put on things. i dont get why people dont realise the great things were going in this world. but yet when somthing does wrong it does.

Ive forgiven him! & i think he deserves forgiveness. he is still an insprational man

  • Comment removed

  • @ Sicandbored

The one who confesses and seeks for God's forgiveness will be tolerated and forgiven. Gays ask for understanding and acceptance while they remain in sin. they lie on God saying he created them that way. All that God ever created is perfect. Homosexualism is a grave sin before God. But if the homosexual acknowledges his sin and seeks to change, he will be forgiven and brought out of his sin. It is a mere addiction or perversion that can be overcome.

  • it just amazes me how people are so willing to speak on and on about forgiveness and tolerance in this case (and others like it) and yet refuse all but the most tepid such sentiments towards gays or homeless

    seriously

  • i totally agree with u . micheal has moved on, but we are still lagging back. its time for us to move on guys.

  • @kleenexz Michael has moved on? That is such great news!!! What what is he doing these days? Pastoring a church? Writing more music? Does he have a new illness? I'm so glad he has moved on! what are the details that you have?

  • AMEN!!!

  • Also I'd like to add that it must suck to live in a society where your pressured to be christian and looked down upon if your not, it really must suck to not have had the chance to explore beyond it and to be forced to go to church since you were a baby by your parents im definetly glad I got to grow up in a country where all religions are accepted equally and being an atheist is quite a common thing.

  • TRUST IN NO MAN.....

ever ever ever.. Thats the moral of the story here mate.

  • Wow you just said never to trust humans, you better find out how trust worthy your mind is by having a short think about why you believe in an omnipotent being

    1. If God is omnipotent, then He can do anything.

    2. Therefore, God can create a rock so heavy that He cannot lift it.

    3. But if He cannot lift it, then He is not omnipotent (because that is one thing He cannot do).

    4. And If He cannot create such a rock, then He is likewise not omnipotent.

    5. Therefore, God cannot be omnipotent.

  • why are you trying to convince yourself there is no God?

  • I need not convince myself, I know there is no god just as you claim to know there is a god, however you are at fault in claiming non-exsistance exsists when im claiming non-exsistance does not exsist, now is your life so worthless to you that you need to devote all of it to something illogical and hope for a better place to go too when your brain dies?

  • so now you are trying to convince me then?? or? are you still trying to reassure yourself there is no God???

  • No im not trying to convince you because I know you wont be convinced by me, im just hoping you will think more rationally about things, and really have a good think about it. For example if you were born in say india, you would probably be supporting hinduism the same way you are supporting christianity, in all honesty I just wish people could understand, and I just cannot comprehend why you would believe your beliefs and come up with responses that make no sense to me like your last question.

  • I got saved thats al I can say. I have been aleaedy all over the world bro all the way as far as east coast of africa. I have traveled all over i can tell you here are people just like me all over this world???? hows that??? Jesus is real. GO To CHURCH AND SEE FORYOURSELF!!

  • what did you get saved from? and how can you tell that you really got saved from whatever you think there is to be saved from, /facepalm christians are all around the world because people like you spread it to people who are unfortunate in life, and they believe you because they are so unfortunate and you are so fortunate.

  • oooh boy i cant convince u meybe jesus himself can, why dont u try it, dont be so closed minded if u dont have an experience and dont feel his presence u can goigng bein an athies, its not because peole spread it its becuase people feel jesus and are conviced, just like u think u are convinced there's no God. try it and then sustain it and maybe we can chat

  • "oooh boy i cant convince u meybe jesus himself can" The jesus I think your refering too is long dead.

"dont be so closed minded if u dont have an experience and dont feel his presence u can goigng bein an athies" What?

"its not because peole spread it its becuase people feel jesus and are conviced" When people are young they believe everything you tell them, and when pressured in a christian society that all of it is true, only the smart ones question it when they grow up.

  • i don't agree with most of what you say. however, i think people that have grown up in the church should reevaluate why they have chosen to follow Christ. i think you're right that most people who have grown up in the church stay in the church. i wouldn't say "only" the smart ones question, but i think all should.

i respect your decision not to be an atheist/agnostic/nontheist, but i ask that you respect my decision to be a follower of Christ. we may not agree, but we should respect each other.

  • i grew up in a christian house and rebelled against God when i was younger, i didnt care, i didnt want to be a christian, but when i got older, i did get smart, i did wuestion it, and now im a believer of Jesus Christ...

  • way to go!

  • find a church that preaches bibke like calvary chapel and go there and see and ask those people how they got saved.

  • you know ive been to church before right? everyone is just faking otherwise they have mental problems

  • also if you think there is no right and wrong ad no heaven and no hell and no God then well who am I to tell you different??? Satan is the prince of this world and the prince of darkness and the prince of hell. Thats true. Thats why the earth has been enlarging itslef for 7000 years now cause Satans fall. Ezekiel 28. God bless. Hell is real bro. So is Jesus Christ he is the only way to the Father.

  • What? The world is enlarging now? I'm not sure about this claim but if it really is its obviously from natural causes. I cant believe you take this as fact "Thats why the earth has been enlarging itslef for 7000 years now cause Satans fall." Im sorry I didnt know you were that stupid, I'm clearly not getting through to you, you've already been too dumbed down by all that brainwashing your parents put you through, please get your facts straight before you come back.

  • Also I hope you know that with the newer generations religion is dying, your decendents will most likely be athiests or agnostics, you really were unlucky to have been brought up in such a time when people are drilling crap in to your head that isnt real, I really pity you, your like those older people that cant get over rascism, except you cant get over religion.

  • u really are unlucky not to have God in your life what to do u turn to when u feel down, psychlogist probably suicide, what do u livwe for, whats the sense of life for u what mean their could posible be do it if u dont belive in God.absulutely none.

  • You have no friends or family to turn too? Hmmmm also I never really feel down because I live life to its fullest, you really sound so uneducated that you just absorb all these lies that everyone tells you into your mind, if you really think about it your sentence makes no sense, your so unlucky not to have common sense in your life.

"what do u livwe for, whats the sense of life for u what mean their could posible be do it if u dont belive in God.absulutely none."

    I LOL'd.

  • thank you for all your symphathy for us religious folk. It wasn't nice for you to say what we believe is "crap"(which of course would happen on the internet, rarely have I seen anyone with enough guts to tell me that face to face) But just remember if we want to work towards tolerance in this society insults are not the way to go. I don't agree with Muslim theology but Im not going to say what they believe in is crap. How can we as acommunity come together if we're spitting in each othersfa ce

  • 'It wasn't nice for you to say what we believe is "crap"'

No it wasn't nice for me to say it, must I be nice 24/7?

"But just remember if we want to work towards tolerance in this society insults are not the way to go."

In our society we have enough tolerance, we do not need to work any further.

"I don't agree with Muslim theology but Im not going to say what they believe in is crap."

When I said 'drilling crap' I meant it as a way to say brainwashing that fit the context better, not an insult.

  • "How can we as a community come together if we're spitting in each others faces."

I think we are coming together nicely at the moment actually, conflict is almost always present in friendship, you can't really have one without the other.

  • we have not god enough tolerence in the world. if we did then there'd be no racism, no homophobia, no sexism, and all the other kinds of intolerence and injustices that happen all the time. you can have friendship without conflict, it's called being a real friend, there's nothing wrong with being nice all the time. you can call it brainwashing if you want, i call it preaching. just because it challenges you to change and talks about God doesn't make it brainwashing

  • I'm not sure which post you were replying too since I posted it quite a while ago. But if you think Religion is positive for tolerance you are sorely mistaken. While it may be positive to followers of a specific Religion to others of the same Religion, that still doesn't mean everyone in that Religion even agrees with each other.

Wether you think so or not, society is moving towards even better tolerance, but as long as Religion is around so will intolerance, many people despise non-believers.

  • Also how can you not call indoctrinating your kids before they even understand the world brainwashing. Theres no other word for it, forcing your kids to believe in what you believe, teaching them no other way. Telling them they will go to hell if they don't listen to what you say. Young children will believe anything you tell them, and since some people never develop good rational and critical thinking skills. They may indoctrinate their children as well, without even realising its Child Abuse.

  • @aibonlol You and I both know it's not child abuse. But I do see your point, but I am also a believer and as such, I don't see anything wrong with teaching what you know to be right and good and pure to other people.

  • Youtube Comments are too short, so I had to cut out alot of stuff, this is why I hate arguements on Youtube. In any case I don't even use this account anymore, but if i come on in like a year and see your response to this I may respond, though it is hopeless with people like you. Since most likely you have been indoctrinated yourself, wether you deny it on here or not I have no doubt that you are religious because someone told you that a god was real, and you believed them.

  • We are not religious people, we are a people that live in faith. Either way, don't bother trying to "win" arguments on YOUTUBE, flip sake, this is so useless+will not benefit anyone. I'm not saying we shouldn't stand up and fight for what we believe in,but the change won't take place by discussing on youtube,go out and let your light shine, not behind your computer,be active not passive. This is not personal "capena2",it's to everyone having "an endless discussion+without any result or change" GB!

  • We are saved by free grace, through Jesus' death and His perfect life of righteousness which is imputed and credited to those who trust in Jesus. However, once a person is saved, the genuine converted will walk in obedience, and if they don't they are not saved and are imposters..... 1 John 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

  • I like how your name contradicts your beliefs, if you are seeking truth then you would have realised the overwhelming evidence that it is impossible for a god to even exsist since if he is simple, he could not have created something as complexed as the universe, yet if he is complexed, who created him, and if that is so why must the universe need a creator if complexed beings can be created from nothing

  • yes you are right we should forgive and pray for our pastors but jesus did warn us to watch out for false apostles and teachers.

  • Praise the Lord !!!! I'm cured...I can see again.

  • Thanks for the time making this vid, may God bless you for your message.

  • Let me ask u TruthSeekingTruth, have u ever sinned in your life?

  • obviously not, hes thrown like the first ten stones!!

  • Notice Jesus said in v11, "..go, and sin no more." NOTICE THAT? He said SIN NO MORE! That was a commandment, not a request. You should be ashamed of yourself claiming to represent Jesus when you are suggesting such false theology and softening sinning. Is that because deep down you like sinning? Or perhaps you want to find excuse for your continuous sinning?

  • I'm not here for an argument, cos I have better things to do with my time. And i'm not saying by any means that it is not a serious offence, and that it should be dealt with properly. But as a Christian we are called to forgive. If he has honestly repented, then our aim should be his restoration. Galatians 6:1 - Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted.

  • After Jesus had died for our sin's the commandments where no longer how, we get to heaven. They are now guidelines on how God lived and wants us to live, Sin is not right by any token but we all do it, we shouldn't be focused on other people's sin rather look at the sin in our own lives and aim for a more pure life to worship him in our daily lives as a thank you.

  • Your theological comments are in err. You said, "Does that mean Jesus was being unbiblical in John 8 when he 'swept the adulteress's sin under the carpet'? I cannot believe you made such a comment. I hope and pray with all my might and heart that you are not a Pastor, Bible teacher or in a position of influence. Jesus didn't just sweep her sins under the carpet as you suggest. JESUS HAD TO DIE BECAUSE OF SINS LIKE THAT! It's a very very serious offence.

  • Your comments about Mike are disgusting, even from a biblical and Christian perspective. It's a great sin so sweep lies and deception under the carpet and just reason, "oh well, that's ok, he is a sinner and we all sin, and so we should just ignore it". It's the demonic attitude that you have displayed that encourages people, especially Christians to commit horrific sins, because they reason its ok, they are a sinner, so its ok to sin.

  • Hi. I fail to see how these comments are 'disgusting from a Biblical and Christian perspective.' If you have Biblical reference, I would be happy to hear them. Does that mean Jesus was being unbiblical in John 8 when he 'swept the adulteress's sin under the carpet'? And this 'attitude' that you speak of, does not encourage sin, it encourages forgiveness - Read Romans - although we have all sinned, God's grace 'sweeps it under the carpet,' but it does not mean we should continue to sin.

  • I loved what you said, I understand this type of grace is only, actually has only ever been for the professional Christians. If us non pro's ever did even a small thing we would get booted, with no mercy what so ever. Grace is truly only for those who actually do not need it.

I loved what you said, I just wish it applied to the rest of us, it has not, it does not, and it never will. It really is not very good news. Not at all.

  • Hey mate. This grace does apply to everyone. I'm sorry that you have experienced otherwise from people or a church who did not know how to forgive. Grace is for those who need it, otherwise it wouldn't be grace.

  • yes Mal, well said

  • i believe we all are disturbed by the news, but let us not lose our focus, there are still many lost souls out there who does not know about god or his mercy.michael gulielmucchi took the easy way out to reach out to the people and cover up his sins, lets not forget we can sin the same way as him.i am very touched by his last words"from now on, i will live in truth" we all have sins in our lives, the only diffrences is, do we have the courage to face up to it?

  • God bless you. That is the way of the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • The God of second chances. Yes He is. He gave it to all of us, He did it with King David, leader not of a sinagoge, but King of thousands. He failed, He killed, He comitted adultery, but He confessed and repented ( as michael did) and God still used him, and his psalm wasnt erased, Jesus came from his descendnts. Lets pray that God's grace reach Him. And for all of us, if we believe we are saints, lets keep seeking holliness, and let the God of marcy and justice take care of Him.

  • BULLOCKS..

  • right-on. Thanks for the mature response. I get so tired of ignorant wind-bags who bring condemnation upon themselves (Romans 2)

  • Thanks for the Video Sir!

  • Wow, nice video. I wish I could talk like the guy in the video. Very well balanced comment.

  • it was written in the bible that if your brother ask for forgiveness forgive him, it was clealy written in the bible... and every history i believe is God's own history for he even the GOD of History!!!! mighty...

-To all who opposing and mocking him, God Bless you all for Jesus once tald us who ever is righteous in him selves shall be the one to stone him.remember this that the measure you use is the same measure that God will use against you.

  • You speak words of truth, Mike Guglielmucci deserves our help not our hate

    God Be With You

    Bless You

  • I wish this was an isolated incident, unfortunately its not! Whilst it may be more extreme than cases, lies like this are being told constantly to try and win people over.... if you want an example check out the video 'debunking that stupid creationist video"

  • Mike fooled people about his disease to then go on to fool them about his religion! ITS AMAZING TO SEE THE LENGTHS PEOPLE GO TO, TO CONVERT OTHERS TO THEIR RELIGION!

  • people go to extreme lengths all the time for their personal purposes. let's not make one man's mistake an evaluation of other believers of Christ.

  • zozoghel.......you have been Assimilated.

  • Gods mercy on us EVERY DAY is so awesome hey? This man, i make no excuse for what he has done, but the Lord said himself "THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE NO SIN CAST THE FIRST STONE." From the moment His blood was shed on the cross till now not one human being on this planet can or ever will pick up a stone to cast it. WE ALL HAVE SINNED AND FALLEN SHORT OF HIS GLORY. We just need to do what God told us to do in the last days which is TO WATCH AND PRAY so that even the very elect(US) wont be deceived.

  • stop leaving this everywhere!!!

  • jonnyrock you are right, david did mess up big time, and like Mike he to tried to cover up his sin by killing bathshebas husband to hide it from God.and it took a prophet to see the truth.

Its the lie that mike told to hide his addiction to porn that has hurt many, just one lie thats al it takes soon before you know it your caught in a huge web surrounded by lie after lie after lie.

thats why jesus says in John 8:32 " then you shall know the truth and the Truth will set you free"

  • No normal human being tells his parents that he was going to die of cancer. Think about that, and feel free to make judgement . . . its a very normal human reaction and its the basis of learning.

    Trust is earned, not inforced.

  • sorry 4 double post.. ran out of space...

knowing God, He can forgive Mike, than I can forgive Mike too.

  • Mike was a great inspiration on young people like myself. When he spoke everybody listened. If you have heard him speak you would know what i'm talking about. He lied and that was really dumb of him to do but at least he came up with the courage to tell the truth and that is admiring. His preaching is still the same and what he taught was still inspirational. He always said God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.. that doesnt change. he just have a lot of healing to go through!

  • Mike Guglielmucci didn't just fail,he committed a serious offence and should suffer the consequences. This guy is a complete liar and fake. Who cares what Billy Graham says what does the bible say about it.When you look at the Acts 5:1-12 look at what happen to the couple when they kept the money. They both dropped dead.Mike tells this huge lie, comes out now he goes and hides somewhere.Dont just sweep it under the carpet.

  • I concur - well said Mal and looking forward to hearing you at Hillsong Men's Conference! Bless!

  • Thanks brother for your sharing. shalom.

  • Oh yeah I fogot that king david messed up big time. so I will not speak against mike

  • well said. We all do and will mess up. "we all fall short of the glory of God"

  • You said it all Mal Fletcher.

  • He needs to be born again.

  • it's ok to fail...it is not ok to commit a crime. faking a terminal illness and collecting money is fraud which is a crime. there will be an opportunity for mike to serve in a prison ministry.

  • Just focus on Jesus.

  • Mal Fletcher is a to guy

  • you dont know what you are talking about

  • I do know what I'm talking about. I lived under the spell of the Christian dillusion for thirty years. I know how they think and I know how they feel.

BILLIONS of people see through the Christian myth; only Christians are blind to its falsehoods. Sorry if you are offended, but to those of us who are not caught in the mental trap, this situation with Mr. Gugliemucci is just another classic case of "boys will be boys" and believers are no exception.

  • ...I meant DELUSION....

BTW have you ever looked up the meaning of the word 'delusion'?

talking snakes, floating axeheads, flying people, dead guys coming back to life...

You have the right to belive the moon is made out of cheadar chesse, if you wish. Just don't be too suprised when the rest of us think you are a bit delusional.

  • Maybe some church arent forcused on God, and you've been hurt by this. But God is real. Jesus isnt a myth. Not all christians are so blind as you think, In the bible it says to test everything, so therefore it calls us not to be blind and accept everything we hear. But if your church isnt on the right track why will they teach about testing everythink you hear think do without twisting it? i think youve had a very bad experence but, i tell you now God is real, I hope you find that out soon.

  • "i tell you now God is real, I hope you find that out soon." There is no proof so dont assume things then tell other people your assumptions are true, please.

  • 70 times 7

  • thanks very much for this video, this very helpful.

it's so understandable that people would naturally hate the leader,... it's the first instinct when one is betrayed...

but i reckon this just proves the leader, Ps Mike, is just human. he is a Christian, but he is not God to not sin. I reckon Ps Mike, needs support, and if he lets God be his God, then he will-in no doubt-be better and be well to move forward. It's just life, but Christians should stand together in prayer, love & forgiveness.

  • Yes i agree mostly but we have to remember to take this lighty, also we should use this to remember test everything, dont just take it as truth.

  • "Yes i agree mostly but we have to remember to take this lighty, also we should use this to remember test everything, dont just take it as truth." including a random book written around 2000 years ago.

  • HEB 10:26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. I hope Michael's repentance is FOR REAL for he has trampled the blood of Jesus... Maybe he is REAl Christian NOW :)

  • The song "Healer" is not technically a good song but has some feelings on it and has nice lyrics too. However, this song was not obviously anointed because the holy spirit does not use a lier. This sad event teach us that christians today are more guided by feelings rather than by the power of God. Also it teach us that any song written by believers or unbelievers can help us to overcome a bad situation. Finally, bible never mention anointed songs as Pop Christians want to make us to believe.

  • All I have to say is read Philippians 1: 18. You can't argue against the word of God.

  • God can make stones praise Him if He wanted to.... You say that the Holy Spirit does not use liars, you are right..but then to say that how did God's Spirit use king David?? I mean he was a murderer and adulterer wasn't he?? The song healer I believe is not about his "cancer"..Ps Mike knew more than anyone that the song is for his real disease, that is his sin.....

I am pentecostal. I don't live on my feelings, but I appreciate that music does allow people to be minisytered to..look at Saul..

  • Hello, I was not clear enough. God can use anyone liar. My point was that something that is made out of fake, cannot be inspired and co-authored by the holy spirit. Hope you agree on that. Healer's lyric is nice, Jesus is mentioned there etc but it was based on Mika's inspiration only. This is not an "anointed song" yet the holy spirit can use that song and any non-believer song to get closer to a person.

  • We have to remember that God is never taken by surprise. I believe that the song itself is an anointed song as you can hear the inner cry of pastor mike. The frailty of the messenger should never be confused with the power of the message

  • God used David who was a adulter and murder. God used Moses a murderer God used Paul a Persecuter and murderer of Christians. God used Solomon who used conscripted and forced labour to build the temple. God used a donkey! God can, does and will use us in our fraility and sin otherwise the only truly "anointed one who can speak is Christ! God uses fallen being murderers, liars, ect

  • a lie is a lie is a lie is a lie. this is not about mike, it's about our methodology. surely the church would criticize the jehovah's witness for deception when proselytizing. are we no better?

  • Be aware when you sing... are you worshiping God or WORSHIPING the MELODY or LYRICS..worse, are you worshiping Hillsongs who MAKES GOOD music... Just because you cry doesn't mean its real.. the heart is deceitful. We will all be accountable to God :)

  • No matter what you say... how can Hillsong NOT discern this guy... How can he DELIBERATELY sin unless he is a FAKE Christian (Heb 6:4)Wolf in disguise. For crying out loud, he even has PROPS and goes to hospitals.. its just really sick to imagine!

  • We are all victims to temptation, temptation to do wrong to benefit us. He isnt perfect neither are you or i. Christians sometimes deliberately sin but if we repent we are forgiven, its not like we are saved so we no longer sin DELIVERATELY! It isnt are place to judge were he is with God. But it is our place to test everything, check everything out with God.

  • hi mark, all Christians still do sin, but there's a difference between "deliberately keep on sinning" & "falling into temptation". Michael is like Judas (he was with Jesus & seen his miracles) but still betrayed him. Judas was sorry in the end. The blood of Jesus can save Michael from what he did if his repentance is real.. but that we may never know.

  • Mike and Judas are a great comparison!

The side of the story I feel gets grossly over looked is this...

NOBODY BUT Jesus had forgiveness and mercy. I believe the story of Judas shows us that without Jesus the end result of the guilt we bring upon ourselves leads one to death.

The system can NEVER save you even IF you are sorry like Judas. ONLY JESUS.

  • yeah the def is a difference. And i surpose we can all be refered to as Judas in our own way. I hope he is truly repenting for his own sake.

  • i dont know if personally i can forgive mr. guglielmucci.. but i know it doesnt change the songs he wrote like Healer. the song belongs to the Lord as far as i see and is a powerful annointed song... if any case just think of it like a hymn written a long time ago, many hymns were written by slaveowners, and although slavery is a terrible thing... it doesnt take away from the beauty of the hymn just because the writer lived a wrong lifestyle

  • You should ask for God to help you to forgive him, we all sin. In Gods eye's all sin is the same. God will use this situation for our good.

  • I Prey for the real victims you prey for Micheal let god judge that,i gain nothing by denying everything,i am but one voice amongst a million others. We communicate through our feelings, and it feels cold if you try to suppress them.JCIL.................

  • True so DOES THAT MEAN that we forget what Micheal Guglielmucci has done, have you seen a persons life fade away because of cancer,it kills slowly and painfully,he has sealed his own fate, human nature will judge his actions, and his actions speak louder than his music.

  • no one is perfect thats the whole point of Jesus now guys, he forgives us so we must forgive others, if you harbour hatred in your heart it only hurts you in the long run.

  • i agree we should also learn from this, and see how we are all faulty and lost without guidance from God, We should test everything, and not just take it for truth. Leaders of church's should be praying for people before they speak to make sure they are speaking out what God wants them to say, keep a close eye on what is being taught, and keep focused on God.

  • yeah he should pay big time

  • yes there is grace from God...but heathen or not...crooks and charlatans should be punished to fullest extent of the law. we have a corporate responsibility to keep order here.

  • If you want to have a greater impact when you speak, use a language that all will understand, quoting scripture isn't good enough, you presume that everyone here is a christian....they are not!

  • Poor misguided fOOL,i am not bound by the confines of your scripture,do not hide behind the bible as did micheal, your words are meaningless unless backed by action, stand alone and show some backbone and condemn this behavior or go crawl under that rock you came from.

  • The Bible is the Word of God a word that is greater than anything on this earth so please do not call it meaningless. If you read it you would know to pray for Michael and forgive him the way that God sent his only son Jesus to die for our sins so we as human can be forgiven.

  • Don't know if you've heard yet....but Mike is about to release a new song as a follow-up to healer. It's called 'STEALER'. Bet this will be such a great blessing to lots of Christians.

  • What do you gain by writing all this instead of you praying For Michael this is a test to see who follows God.

  • i am praying..i believe in complete restoration for pastor mike..

  • I also pray for mike and all the other pastors and leaders out there that are struggling, that they also will get help, step down before they mislead anyone.

  • Lack of prayer, like it or not, is the biggest factor in issues such as this. As Christians we believe and develop almost an innate mindset that we don't have to pray for our leaders such as Mike G. There is a thing called 'spiritual warfare' and if your someone who is making an impact and telling those the good news, u can expect opposition to be right around the corner. So let it be known to cover all those who God has chosen into leadership with prayer and only through prayer.

  • you know something guys..dont think many people would have thought about it yet, but it is during THIS period of time that "Healer" is most applicable to Mike Guggliemucci's life. and to many of ours too.

  • If god was so perfect then god would not have created you or me,we are on this earth to find those answers, this is not about you or i,one persons failure is now being addressed in full view of the world,he has crossed the line by breaking laws that we hold most sacred,he must therefore accept the punishment,he has created a rift,a ripple effect,if it is not sealed more will slip through the cracks and all you will have left is an empty shell, the clock is ticking.

  • Healer song is God breathed...i believe that..and Mike Guglielmucci is one of the millions christians who are struggling with the same temptation... i still believe in Ps mike and Love him..i am praying for him..God will use this song to heal everybody to those who are hurting...

  • God IS NOT human, humans are accountable to their own kind, the majority of people in Australia are not christian but that of many faiths as well as non religious but all are equal and not immune to the laws of the land and Micheal is no different, king David killed and adulterised because he was the law of the land and not because god forgave him...use your logic man.

  • Yes everyone is equal but everyone is accountable to God not to humans. That is because he is perfect and we are not. And just because David didn't murder and commit adultery because God would forgive him does not mean that God didn't forgive him just the same. Neither your nor i nor anyone is any better than Micheal. We are all human and equal.... you said so yourself.

  • if you read the scripture.you will see that king david tried to conceal his sin..why??? because he realised that there was One who was above him. If he was the law of the land as you say then why would he try to conceal his crime???use your logic this time...

  • God did forgive David but David was severely punished with the loss of his son.

  • good words...

  • He confessed because he was forced too. Fall on your own sword to save those who could no longer protect him,fact..he has defrauded the church and possibly the government, dishonored all those suffering with cancer,i have made many mistakes but none out of selfish greed and never to bring myself into disrepute.Unlike some of you my eyes are not painted on.

  • nobody forced him to confess. I truly believe that he has had an encounter with God. The weight and conviction of what he was doing would be unbearable. Remember King David killed and adulterised. But God forgave him..we should look at that for a moment..what makes this situation any different???

  • Sorry Mal (whoever you are), but this video is full of patronising spin. GET REAL.

  • learn to see that people make mistakes. be it great or small..are you clean?

  • Will I forgive Mike? YES. Will I trust a word he says again? NO. Do I believe he has confessed all? NO. Do I think his family has some serious questions to answer? YES. Does the leadership of Planetshakers need to held accountable for how they handled Mike? YES. Is there a major spin operation in progress to put as positive a gloss on this as possible? ABSOLUTELY (e.g. Mal Fletcher's video + the statement from Mike's dad which was clearly written by a lawyer and full of legal language). SPIN.

  • The only way to catch a thief is by exposing them, they seem to find safe havens in churches because they bring people together who rarely question its authority therefore allowing those in a position of trust to take advantage ,money is the churches real power for it has become its first priority and why not reward your selfishness with a few extra dollars, just don't get caught.

  • hw was not caught..he confessed....so that throws your theory out the window...
