Al Radka - Oberti Olives from Madera

I grew up in Fresno and I loved this guy so much. I rememeber Al from the early 60's through the 70's.

Does anybody remember the show Funtime which Al Radka was the host back in the 70's.I can remember being on the show when i was in 2nd grade. I'm 44 now.

I went to school with one of the Oberti girls, very nice person..I miss the great taste of their olives.

I remember his commercial for VW engine exchange in Fresno on Mckinley where it shows him "rip it right out of there" from the back of a vw bug

Wow....it was great to see this commerical again. I loved Al Radka's commercials! Do you have any more? I remember an Oberti Olive commercial he did back in the 70's where he was singing opera and I also remember a children's show he used to do in the late 60's and early 70's. I don't remember the name though.

I also remember Al Radka and would love to see him do the Lesterburger commercial. He would give a discription on his hamburger and when he got the the lettuce he would say, "Lettuce, let us eat it" and gooble it down. He was great, coming from a native Fresnin.

I remember that commerical, I was a little kid in Fresno at the time. I would love to see the one with Al and subway VW.
