Why is it they decided to make Disney cartoons w/ Donald & Goofy but not Mickey? I read on google some time ago there was a reason but I don't remember what.

"Yep! Nice guy, nice guy." I love how the opening credits have a "Donald & Goofy" theme music, but in the closing seconds it plays the Goofy theme as if it's Goofy's moment of triumph.

Ironically, the previous year, Goofy was portrayed as a great white hunter (portrayed by Donald here) in another jungle cartoon, "Tiger Trouble". Some of the music from that cartoon is reused here, in fact!

WOW! There are seriously too many classic Disney cartoons I haven't seen. I never knew Donald and Goofy co-starred in a short as late as 1946!
