@lawraboo I know what you mean. They have good beats and the lyrics are ok-ish but the songs in CONTINUUM had amazing and meaningful lyrics that must have taken time to create. These songs in BATTLE STUDIES are nowhere near as deep (lyric-wise), they're sort of superficial. I do like John Mayer's songs i just think he didn't put his all in this album like he did with many of his others.
