  • I have this exact fan, it wa a wedding present to my parents back in the 1940's. It still runs perfect! What else made today lasts over 60 years with continuous use? Everything today is crap!

    You are right, 6-pole. The blades are extremely steep-pitched. Motor is quite powerful with that capacitor in the circuit. And this fan is well made and quite heavy!

  • Very nice R & M. I believe those are 6-pole motors, which means low RPM's and silent running.

    I think those actually trump the Emerson 77 fans for quietness.
