The only similarities they have is that both bands combine some sort of elements from electronic music with rock, but Linkin Park is not the only band to do that, nor are they the first. You should probably research the types of music you're into a little more.

Great band. I ran into their lead singer at Hot Topic one time without even knowing it. He told me about his band and to check them out. I did, of course, and i love it. He was such a nice guy too, very down to Earth.

This is one of my favorite songs by them. It is great. Great band.
