I'd make new characters, but everyone's already lvl 20 and doing something else, and it's not as fun. GW isn't the same anymore. I remember forming groups that would last from yaks bend till you got to the crystal desert, and everyone was lower lvl, lvling up with you. You'd spend all saturday night joking, talking, and doing missions with people you became friends with, a real team. And it was fun.

D: There was a very real aspect back then...I guess you could call it a very "human" aspect because nowadays everyone's got heroes and there's really no point in trying to forge relationships with actual players when you can simply run through areas and missions without the least effort. Not sayin' that heroes are a bad thing...but the GW of the old was definitely the best.

How I really love this. it almost makes me cry while bringing back the memories of playing pre-searing in GW Prophecies for the very first time. This pre-searing has carved so deep to my head that it always reminds me of GW when it is autumn here in Finland and the leaves are yellow, orange or red.

this game realy had something that made it special.

the first year ,maby the first 2, it was realy great.

but it went downhill when they added heroes that the player can control.

no1 except me seemed to want to do stuff TOGETHER, and laugh/talk while doing the quests/missions. i've stopped playing for quite some time now, simply cause it's become lonely...

still, those 2 years of my life that i DID enjoy the game, realy sticked with me.

@Runewright31 It's very tedious; you have to keep dying until the ENEMIES level up, so that you can gain experience from them (you stop gaining experience from lower level foes after a while). But you get a special title for doing it. XD

@boxedin In my humble opinion, I think that "Beyond the northern wall" and the Luxon theme are the best compositions at the moment. As for the other campaigns, I never really was a fan of Nightfall, but factions has that underlying tone of "Epic". At least in the concept art which you really should check out if you haven't already.

Yea. I thought you meant you used to have the game because you said if you had it "again" you would play it. But if you remember your original email address (which has your CD key tied to it) then you can just download the client from the GW website and log right in!

Well the point of Guild Wars when it originally was released, was to be a PvP game. Hence why it's one of the only MMO's that gives you option at start to either create a PvE, or hop Straight into PvP with max level max armor etc. Also it wasn't to play "one class your whole life of the game" The point of the game was to learn to play EVERY CLASS learn them all! use them all! If the level cap was 40-60 then leveling all ur chars would just be gay
