  • A lot of mobile phones clip the edges of large pictures (that may be you took with your high resolution camera) or distort the picture as they compress them. If you took the picture with your own phone, then it will look OK on your phone, but if you send it to another mobile phone, it may get clipped or compressed. This tool will optimize the picture to a certain cell phone size, so it would be correctly re-sized, with no distortion or clipping.
