My husband (by Civil Partnership) and I just saw this advert at 09.15 in the morning in the UK. I moved here from America, so today is Thanksgiving for me, traditionally. This commercial really put us in the holiday mood.
Good on the makers of this product. I never tried one of their Christmas Puddings before, but it is the only brand I will buy from now on!
I think its a remarkable sign of the tolerant evolution of our society that only 18 months after Heinz pulled an advert because of an (incorrectly) perceived homosexual agenda we can accept a commercial which features a much loved public figure in a happy and comfortable gay relationship.
Love the advert, but who is playing the part of Santa in the advert???

Santa : I got stuck in his chimney.
Walker: It took five men to get him out.
Mother cracks me up every time.

Well done Matthew Walker, and well done Britain.

Very poor advert. Way too long, poor brand recognition, out-of-focus pack shot. Looks nice but doesn't do the job of an advert.
Sack your ad agency.

My housemate and I love this advert. I always knew there was something fruity about Father Christmas...

Saw this on TV just now. "Friends" yeah right, they're a couple if ever there was one.
