as much as i hated the masked used in Halloween 4 and 5 it is understandable why the producers didnt re-use the mask from the Original Halloween. That mask was used from a WIlliam Shatner/Capt. Kirk mask as was altered to the mask used in Halloween. Unfortunately, Shatner's legal team and the Star Trek people demanded royalties for use of the original mask. hence why it was only used in the original film (tho some say it was used again in Halloween II)

But because Halloween III wasn't successful enough it went back to the Michael Myers storyline which got worse as the films went on except for H20. But critically Halloween III is better than the original Halloween II/

H4 was ok, I liked the dark ambiance involved. But it was cliche and it copied the original in parts like when Jamie screams "Somebody help me!" running door to door the same as Laurie did. But it's worth seeing nevertheless.

i love halloween 4. Halloween 2 is my favorite though, the original halloween 2 not zombies. 4 had a great ending, its a shame though 5 and 6 were bad, in my opinion. But H20 was good. I lost some interest in the storyline in parts 5 and 6 with the whole curse thing. Michael Myers is suppose to be pure evil. not cursed
