people, i got both omnia and iphone 3gs and this are their characteristics omnia: no 3.5mm jack soft touchscreen (prone to scratches) with no multitouch 5 mpx camera with flash slow interface shitty software shitty keyboard videocalls many programs don't work iphone: 3mpx camera no flash fast and easy to use ios and software hard screen 3.5 mm jack no card slot (i don't need it anyway) smoother interface syncs way easier with itunes appstore = many working apps no videocall

The Omnia runs Windows Mobile. It's not compatible with iPhone apps. Windows Mobile doesn't have nearly as many apps as Apple. Furthermore it isn't as reliable as Apple. However, WinMo allows you to fully customize your today/home screen to your liking.
Also, the Omnia is not touch optomized. The screen is mainly made for stylus use, and is nowhere as sensitive as the iPhone touch screen.
I recommend the iPhone over my Omnia for reliability and usability, and overall user experience.
Omnia has many many applications too, such as Youtube and Facebook (you only have to go to these websites using your phone and you will see a "download" button for the applications, and are free, Also, since Omnia is Windows based, anyone can make any applications for it. Its like a small laptop. But, i dont like the way it sometimes freezes, since its windows!. Plus, the usablility is very poor. I mean, in the iphone, you can swipe and click easily but Omnia is not very responsive.
Ok the Samsung Omnia HD is a Windows phone. It has youtube access and full internet. It has Wi-Fi and has a 8 megapixel High Defanition Camera with 30 frame rates per second also 720p. Has the worlds biggest tcl screen. And has the best colour resolution, also has better touch sensertivity than the iPhone 3gs

Yep, I meant 3G S, since the title of this video doesn't say 3G or 3G S. Anyway, for me, the best phone is Iphone 3G S. For you, it might be Omnia. Everyone has his own opinions. We shouldn't fight about that topic, especially since the one phone is Windows Mobile and the other it's not. (which doesn't mean that Windows Mobile are better phones, in some cases they are, in some others they are not.
Well, I already have an iPhone and all I can say is that te multitouch system is wonderful, but the iPhone don't have much versatility as the i900. The screen resolution of the iPhone is so much better than the resolution of omnia, but now the lcd of my phone has broken and i'll buy the i900...

You have to cover Voice Command in the phones. Being able to dial by saying "call Joe Blow on cell" while driving the car is an absolute must for me. iPhone has terrible voice control and it has to be trained. MS Mobile devices often have Voice Command built in and it will dial from even my 3000+ contacts with no training. It will do it even from my Bluetooth headset. Also speaks to me in the bluetooth earpiece reminders of upcoming appointments so I don't miss them.
i own an iphone 3G 16GB black... why it sucks? Camera is bad and has no flash,has a lot of bugs,bluetooth is unusable... thats the things i hate about it! but it looks good! omnia has all those feautures but its slower :S

@mariobroz34: You should better learn English first. Iphone is much better. Iphone has a camera with 3 megapixels and Omnia with 5 megapixels. Does it mean that Omnia's camera is better? Of course not. Also, Omnia is a Windows Mobile device, so we should not even compare them, because they are really different.
+You can use Google if you want to find English Dictionaries, you really need them.

Yep, I meant 3G S, since the title of this video doesn't say 3G or 3G S. Anyway, for me, the best phone is Iphone 3G S. For you, it might be Omnia. Everyone has his own opinions. We shouldn't fight about that topic, especially since the one phone is Windows Mobile and the other it's not. (which doesn't mean that Windows Mobile are better phones, in some cases they are, in some others they are not.

Well, I already have an iPhone and all I can say is that te multitouch system is wonderful, but the iPhone don't have much versatility as the i900. The screen resolution of the iPhone is so much better than the resolution of omnia, but now the lcd of my phone has broken and i'll buy the i900...

Ive had a fair few iphones pass through my hands from people that wanted them tweaked with all the bells and whistles but when it came to buying a new phone myself i went for the omnia, in my opinion the iphone looks like and feels like a phone made for people with special needs,there shouldnt even be a iphone vs samsung omnia video on here,it should be iphone vs ice cream or iphone vs the play park,its just a toy for kids, the samsung omnia is a phone for grown ups, its the fucking business.

its not that the omnia is a I Phone copy is that the samsung OMinia uses a windows mobile system has many different customizations that you can do that the I Phone can't like you can customize your Omina to send picture text instead of having to email them you can change the interfaces to your liking and with the I Phone what see is what you get and you can only get your music using I-tunes where I could get my music from anywhere lime wire bear share. I phone cool but it has its faults

the thing i find about the iphone is that it basically a copy of the phone touch apple should be a bit more creative on the touch you basically do everything the same as the iphone except make calls but then you can hack the ipod touch to make calls as ive seen in other videos

You have to cover Voice Command in the phones. Being able to dial by saying "call Joe Blow on cell" while driving the car is an absolute must for me. iPhone has terrible voice control and it has to be trained. MS Mobile devices often have Voice Command built in and it will dial from even my 3000+ contacts with no training. It will do it even from my Bluetooth headset. Also speaks to me in the bluetooth earpiece reminders of upcoming appointments so I don't miss them.
