I enjoyed the video overall, but I think that taking the structural integrity from it by poking it took away from the fun of seeing what the crusher was actually capable of doing without any help. I did injoy it though.
He uses the forks, and pushes in the sides, because a motorhome is built like a match stick. If he had just set it in there, and began crushing, over half would have came out. He created a spot, where the pile would stay in the crusher. The idea, is to not use a front loader to scoop crumbled vehicle off the ground. Instead, to just pick up the whole thing and take it away.
That guy with the dozer clearly doesn't know how to load the cars into the crusher. He needs to change the attachment so it doesn't poke holes in the RV. It's like me trying to move him by pushing a pencil into his eye. It won't work.
That old Dodge RV looked to be in good shape with little rust and lots of parts on, those things go forever. Only a bunch of idiots would crush that for a few hundred bucks when it could have been parted for a lot more or probably even sold as is! Love to beat to guy talking the whole time so bad, that would be fun!
That looks like RS's crusher. It's harder than it looks. You've got to be a good loaderman to do this stuff. This guy did a really nice, tidy job AND under 5 minutes. Not even enough crap on the ground to fill a wheelbarrow. VERY nice.Those things can be a mess. OverBuilt sure makes a sweet assed crusher.
Why can't we just see the crusher doing its thing? Why just that arsehole on the lift truck have to keep digging at it? I just want to see the crusher do its work, not some bored prick in the truck!

the aluminum is worth way more then steel who needs a crusher for a RV when you got a massive front end loader,should have just ran it over with it :P

That lift is a motherfucker! The power of the lift is not to be underestimated. We have a similar lift in our yuard that can lift school busses full of metal off the trucks. Good video!

That looks like RS's crusher. It's harder than it looks. You've got to be a good loaderman to do this stuff. This guy did a really nice, tidy job AND under 5 minutes. Not even enough crap on the ground to fill a wheelbarrow. VERY nice.Those things can be a mess. OverBuilt sure makes a sweet assed crusher.

You push the sides in so the car or truck crushes inside and doesn't bulge out. They fit on the flatbed better this way.
