This is beautiful and very well made. You have a profound understanding of this poem, and the description of the gravestones is especially poignant with the visuals. I improvised an art song to this poem, which is available at my channel.
@Braunik I think her pausing adds effect and reflects the way Dickinson split the lines ("The carriage held but just ourselves / and Immortality"). MY question is: Why Evanescence? And why is the song so loud? eww
am trying to write a song version of this poem, or rather the melody /chords since the words are already there.....!
will favourite this to keep ur username etc and let ya know when i do finish my attempt, if ya like; i imagine somebody else has done a song of it before but will avoid looking for the moment....!
I'm from New Hampshire and my teacher told my English class about your video. I came home and watched it and I'm quite impressed. Excellent work, soon my whole high school will be full of fans of yours. Keep up the good work.
No I finished the paper. I used your user name for a source name. I shared your video with the class. It really hepled us all to understand the poem. Dr. Mathews was also impressed. She is going to check out youtube for more such videos. By the way I got an A in the class. Thanks for your help

Personally, I think you should have done it to a different tune.
Since it IS in ballad meter, i suggest Gilligan's Island theme

Very well done. The images fit the poem in a modern setting. Emily Dickinson is timeless.
