@lacyles Dan's a gimmick character. All of his attacks fail in spectacular ways, making him really hard to play, but really funny to watch.

@cheezemonkeyeater except in ssf4 he got a major power boost, his gadoken has more range AND power, making it stronger than a hadoken (albeit still with much less range), his taunts fill his special, which is devastating if used right, and his moves tend to always have priority over other moves (his shissho buraiken has priority over Akuma's Wrath of the Raging Demon last I checked)

@cheezemonkeyeater I play Dan in SSF4AE and I destroy everyone online. (practically everyone) I got 3500BP with him. His most powerful tool is underestimation, whenever someone sees Dan they expect to be able to take him down with ease... but then all of a sudden, Dan won the first round... :V
